Staff was very courteous. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food was great. Especially liked THE PRIME RIB ROOM and the MARTINI BAR. Loved the ANTIQUE CAR MUSEUM. Also had fun in the Casino.

The stay would have been fine, but it was marred by too many minor issues. I traveled to Laughlin to meet a friend for a special occasion and took a bottle of Champagne to dinner at The Gourmet Room. The server had no idea how to open or properly serve Champagne. The door latch to my room stuck and I had to struggle to get in. At 4:15 this morning I was awakened by a call from the desk saying someone "thought they heard running water" in my room. There was no running water. When I arrived I asked for advice on parking that would be close to my room and was essentially told to park anywhere. When I went out to my car this morning I found it in cordoned off area with a notice it had to be moved. I could easily ignore any one of these issues, perhaps excepting the early morning phone call, but so many problems in a stay of less than 24 hours suggest a property in need of work on maintenance and customer service.

Staff was friendly. Bowling and laser tag for the kids was great. Room was not clean. Lots of hair on the bathroom floor, dusty headboard and nightstand, and blanket smelled like dust.

While we had a good stay, we ran into a couple of hitches. Maybe this as just a cursed stay or a fluke. The very friendly registration clerk forgot to ask for my payment (in fairness, I forgot, too). I was already in my room and had to return to the registration desk to complete my payment. Human error, and no big deal, just inconvenient. It was a chilly weekend, and our room stayed on the cool side. We had the heat cranked up to 80*, but I don't think the room ever got warmer than 65*. I left a note for the hotel. On the VERY plus side, I was given two free passes to the breakfast buffet. My wife and I ate there Sunday before hitting the road, and it was excellent in every way. We'd never tried to buffet at Riverside before, but will go back.

We booked a room overlooking the river. The room was basically clean, but the patio door was so dirty both inside and out you could hardly see the river. Other than that, the stay was good.
