Beautiful property

The cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Enjoyed sitting on the screen porch listening to the creek as it rushed by. Cabin was clean and well equipped.

Property has gone down since last stay. Low water pressure. Washing machine needs replacing. Coffee maker need updating (old Mr. Coffee). Living room furniture very uncomfortable. Will not rent this property again. Booklet on table tells renters not to rent thru VRBO and to save fees, book directly thru them.

Great place down by the river!

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on cranberry Mill. The place was very clean with several nice amenities. The house is quaint and my kids loved the massage chair. The property is vast and loved walking down the yard next to cranberry creek. The place is overall very relaxing. We used it as a central location to see three state parks over Labor Day weekend. I was able to fly fish up the creek one morning, which was nice as well. Would definitely come back to this location and highly recommend to others looking for a place to relax.

Awesome creek views

This creekside 2 Br 2 Ba stay was a great one. It is located right by a huge creek that spans the length of the huge property. We saw a mama deer and two babies and a rabbit on the property. The only issue we had was the steep driveway upon exiting. My FWD SUV lost a little traction on the gravel going out, but we made it. We will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely the BEST VRBO ever!

This property is gorgeous. The owners have provided everything you can think of and more!! Clean and comfortable. 2 masters with comfortable beds. Every appliance and kitchen gadget you would ever want. New gas BBQ grill. Beautiful and comfortable furniture. Breathtaking views. Impeccable grounds with fresh herbs and berries. Wouldn't change a thing! We will be back.

Absolutely Awesome !

For weeks prior to coming I stared at the pictures of this place and imagined how awesome it was going to be. It definitely delivers on satisfaction. Cabin is well appointed ! better than most I've stayed at and we rent 3 to 4 times a year. You dont lack for anything ! Not the right time of year for fishing but if it were thats an awesome location. The back porch is the best feature ! It is screened and gated and set has a bed and recliners. Nice place to curl up and listen to nature. Drove over from Clemmons so its only an hour and a half away. Most definitely coming back ! Dave and Ronda Clemmons NC

AMAZING!!!!

This is one of the best places I have stayed at! It was beyond beautiful! The house was super clean and comfortable, the sounds and views of the river were so amazing and relaxing. The owners did a great job at sharing the history of this property and making our trip magical. We hope to go back soon.

The Perfect Getaway!

This property is stunning and the house is so very comfortable. Cool nights of early fall and the creek running by the house made for a wonderful few days. Easy access to paddling on the South Fork New River and lots of great hikes in the area. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place. The house is just as described. We'll be back!

When I first searched for this vacation, I had chosen another property, but the owner did not reply before deadline, so I chose this property. I am so glad the other one did not replay because this property was GREAT. Peaceful, private and above everything else.......CLEAN. Thank you for a great stay and absolutely book again. Look no further

If you're looking for a very private, tranquil, NC mountains VRBO booking - look no further. It's a bit of a drive into West Jefferson or Sparta from the cabin - approx. 25 mins either way, but isn't that the point of a "getaway" ? Pick up some groceries and supplies on your way in because once you arrive and hear that Creek flowing just outside the cabin - you may not want to leave. The cabin is cozy with a big spacious kitchen and an amazing screened in porch that overlooks Cranberry Creek. The trout fishing on the Creek at sunrise and sunset was great even for a lifelong Coastal NC fisherman (fly fishing gear not needed - ultralight spinning with some light braid or fluoro will work fine with some 1/16 jig heads and small curly tail grubs). A big thanks to the owners for opening up their property for others to enjoy. There is a wonderful photo album in the living room that details some of their renovations and the history of the property that used to contain a turn of the century mill powered by the Creek. We're already planning our return trip! Why stay in a hotel when you can rest your head and recharge your soul in a setting like this? The Wi-Fi worked great - Dish TV service worked very well as we were able to keep up with all the results at the Olympics - there is a solid library of good books in the master bed room - the grill was clean and worked great - and we even took advantage of making homemade ice cream with the on-site ice cream maker (it really does taste better).
