We arrived and were able to get into the property. The house is full of charm yet modern. The rooms were a great size and furniture was comfortable. It was a convenient location to hop around the bourbon trail and come back to at the end of a long day (we paced ourselves) lol.
My family of six stayed at this property for two nights in June. The host has absolutely everything you could need and was even there dropping off new towels and bedding when we arrived. She has decorated this house so cute. The beds were comfortable and everything was CLEAN. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved staying in the beautiful floors and fabulous beds. The location is near the winery and distilleries, but not too close to be crowded.Great , friendly communications. This was just right for a long weekend getaway.
The house was once again the perfect accommodation for our annual trek to the Bourbon Trail. Our dogs enjoyed their daily walks at the park as well as the big back yard. It had everything we needed as well as being close to all our favorite distillaries. Hoping to make a third stay next year!
The house was cute and clean. The beds were comfortable and the amenities/supplies were plenty!! My only negative was it is very loud at this property. It is on a main road which normal traffic doesn't bother but lots or loud trucks and the train did go by at least 3-4 times a day/night. With that said, it didn't stop us from enjoying the private backyard during the evenings. Location to distilleries and attractions was perfect.
We had a group 3 couples visiting KY for the Derby, and this was a perfect space for us! The house is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The train coming by occasionally didnât bother us at all, but for the light sleepers there are earplugs and sound machines provided which is a thoughtful touch. There are dressers in each room but closet space is a bit limited, so my only suggestion would be to provide suit case racks or hanging racks for those of us who donât prefer to use the dressers. Plenty of shopping and food nearby, and the downtown area is really cute. Check in/out was simple, and the host was very responsive. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we would definitely stay here again!
Stayed with with two other couples to explore Bourbon country. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans and essentials. Towels were plentiful. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have the fire pit on a cool night
We had a wonderful visit to Lawrenceburg. As was mentioned in the description, there is a train that makes routine runs throughout the day, and some at night, but we were adequately prepared for that. We did have an appliance issue during our stay, but Patricia was responsive to our need. Thank you for hosting, and we enjoyed our stay!
The yard is fantastic! We loved having our dogs with us. The town is cute and it is close to great distilleries. The are is very pretty! House is very comfy too.
This home is well appointed with everything you need for a great stay. The bed was comfortable as was the other furniture. The only thing to point out is the home is located on a busy street with train tracks very close by. Overall a great stay.
Nice house, love the touches in it. Is on a busy street by the railroad tracks but we really didn't notice the train that much. Beds are super comfey and kitchen well equipped. Grill needs some help! We were going to grill out one night but is was not clean and little gas in the tank. Not a big deal though.
This is a very welcoming home which has been updated with comfortable period furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. Beds (3) were Serta and bath linens were very nice.
Parking was off street to the side of the house and could accommodate at least 3 vehicles. Back yard had a fire pit and table and chairs which we enjoyed one evening.
Communication was accurate and timely and owners promptly addressed any questions and had us organized for our stay in good order.
Only caveat to our stay was location. Yes, there is a train crossing nearby which may have a number of passings in the night, with the train letting you know of course. Not such a big thing for us. However, we were also surprised with the amount of car / truck traffic out front. Starts early in the morning and continued well into the evening. If not for this, the house would get a solid 10.
My family and I are so happy we found this little house! It was a perfect location to be able to hit all the big distilleries on the bourbon trail. The house was clean and the owner was very easy to contact if needed. The only downside was a loud train that would pass right by the house 2-3 times a night. The owner provided complimentary ear plugs and sound machines which definitely helped!
