Our beachfront apartment located on the 5th floor of this newly renovated residence situated in front of the 4 sandy beaches of Toulon, the regional capital of the Cote D'Azur. Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment offers spectacular views of the Toulon beaches, the bay, and the Saint-Mandrier peninsulas..

We are the original owners of this apartment and our fully furnished home has all the amenities:

Toulon is terrific

Great spot. Murielle the property manager was responsive in getting workers to fix the no hot water issue, however, we it never got repaired while we were there. That was the only problem, everything else was fantastic.

Great Beach Stay

Check in process was quite difficult and stressful for us because we do not speak French. We met the woman who had the keys on the street after calling someone to translate for us because we had difficulty finding the apartment. She was waiting for us, but we were lost in translation and had no idea it was her. Our gps led us in the other direction that the host suggested for finding the apartment. From the street you cannot read the residence names. I would suggest looking for the brown overhangs if they are rolled out and simply the word Pizzeria from the street where the tester aunts are located. The apartment is in between the group of restaurants on the street. Also, if you have a larger car, don’t even think about parking in the parking garage. We had to take off our roofrack and the space in the garage was just too small. For reference though we have a minivan. After the arriving and parking part, we never left! It was perfect. We were looking for a beach view and a close beach. We really enjoyed the balcony view. The shower was fantastic although the oven is outdated. My children also really enjoyed the sand toys in the apartment and we left 2 floats for the next family. I wanted to add, the quick grocery stores nearby are enough for fast time food, but if you want to really cook at the apartment, you need to hit up a grocery store before coming to the apartment. We came mid July and the city was quite busy. We enjoyed walking through the market the host described in the guest book. There is a nice bakery to the left of market (view from if you are walking back home). Thanks for hosting us! It’s exactly what we needed.

Toulon Le Mourillon

I cannot imagine anywhere better to stay if renting an apartment in the Toulon area. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The view from the lounge and the balcony is stunning. Toulon's beaches are literally just across the road. There are shops and restaurants on the doorstop. A walk into Toulon would take about 20-25 minutes. With frequent local buses the journey takes just over 5 minutes. The perfect location for anyone wanting to tour in and around Toulon.

Great place to use as a vacation base

We had a wonderful time staying here during our France vacation! It is in a great location close to markets and shops and right across from the beach and boardwalk. Having an inside garage space was also a plus as parking in the area is difficult. Once there you can walk to most places in the area. It also worked perfectly for us as a base to do daily trips to the Provence and French Riviera, but we also enjoyed Toulon and everything it has to offer. The view is spectacular from the living and dining rooms and from the spacious deck and we especially loved watching all of the long distance swimmers and big and small boats of every kind coming and going from Toulon's harbor. The unit is pretty well equipped. Our only complaint is that the unit was not really clean. We had to do mopping of the floors and the kitchen counters were dirty. This unit could use a really good deep clean. Also, if you do not speak French, be sure to make your arrival and departure plans well ahead of time to pick up your garage, entry and unit keys and codes. There is no receptionist or check-in counter -- you will need to get these from a building superintendent who doesn't speak English. You will need to call her on her phone or talk to her on the building intercom. Somehow we were able to communicate by gestures as she gave us a tour of the building and unit. It all worked out fine. Just part of the adventure of vacationing in a foreign country!!!!

Excellent position with lovely views over the bays

An excellent apartment, well equipped and so close to the beaches of Le Mourillon. It was , however , very hot and the 2 electric free-standing air-conditioners didn't work very well. This might not be a safe flat to take children to as the kitchen window opened wide and low.

One word: WOW!

What a beautiful apartment overlooking he Mediterranean! The place was so much bigger than apartments I've rented in Paris and the location was ideal for eating at multiple restaurants. Cyril was great with our requests and the couple who manages the site were very nice and helpful to my family and me. I'd definitely rent this place again !

Amazing and spectacular

This was our second stay at the lovely 2 bedroom in the mourillon and as it was the case during our first stay , this was a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the amazing view. Although this was November we still braved the weather and enjoyed swimming which was actually much warmer than expected. everything with the apartment is as described and the convenience to the market , many boulangeries , small shopping store and the beach make this a perfect retreat for any one looking for a wonderful time. Several restaurant near by offer all the choices although we did mostly buy our groceries and cooked our food , enjoying the view on the balcony during any meal. Highly recommend this one of a kind great find!

Fantastic week away!

We spent 6 nights here and it was truly terrific. The location and aspect is 2nd to none, 30 seconds to the beach and a couple of minutes from bars, fresh markets, cheese shops etc. Nice safe clean apartment complex. Check in and out was simple and straightforward. Would definitely go back.

Certains plats et couverts, en particulier, Ă©taient couverts de rĂ©sidus alimentaires et ont dĂ» ĂȘtre nettoyĂ©s au lave-vaisselle. La communication avec la propriĂ©taire Ă©tait trĂšs mauvaise. Deux jours avant mon arrivĂ©e, j'ai envoyĂ© un message poli (en français) indiquant notre heure d'arrivĂ©e ; j'ai reçu une rĂ©ponse trĂšs courte et grossiĂšre. À mon arrivĂ©e, j'ai eu l'impression que les Ă©trangers n'Ă©taient pas les bienvenus, mĂȘme si j'ai parlĂ© Ă  la propriĂ©taire en français. C'est dommage. Heureusement, j'ai pu parler et rencontrer des Français trĂšs sympathiques dans la maison.

Nice flat after some confusion

The flat was very nice: great view, right next to a beach and with a well equipped kitchen. We really liked these features and did not miss things such a private pool, but just enjoyed the sea. There are a couple of mini markets and an array of more artesanal (expensive) shops selling meat, fish, cheese and vegetables nearby. A bit larger supermarket is less than kilometer away and a shopping trolley is provided for this (we had no car with us). For wider varieties and better prices for self catering one may need to go for Carrefour of Leclerc a bit further away. Alternatively, there are several restaurants right in the same building and more along the Mourillon beaches. Bus line 3 connects the neighbourhood to city center, for instance the railway station, so one does not necessarily need to take a cab. The check-in was a bit more uncertain we would have liked: the Vrbo portal had two telephone numbers, one of which was not in use and the second one was not replied. Consequently, we had to approach the apartment without fresh contact, based only on the estimated time of arrival given while booking. After some unpleasant, confusing moments close to the door it turned out the lady who was supposed to take care of the check-in was not available that day and we were approached by another one. After this relief everything went well (only in french, though): things had been taken care of quite as they should have, but we did not know this beforehand and were worries since none of our calls were answered. The air conditioning unit worked well enough, although it was rather loud when operating. As described, there was only one of these, but those in the other bedroom managed well enough with a fan. Also, a toilet without a possibility to wash ones hands seemed somewhat strange to us. All other features were just positive, during our stay we mostly cooked our dinners ourselves and were grateful for things such as oyster knife, champagne bottle stopper and sharpening rod for knives.

appartement agréable mais mal géré par le propriétaire!

Quel dommage, j'avais préparé pour un évÚnement spécial mon séjour depuis le mois de février. Au départ, la communication avec le propriétaire était correcte mais au fil de nos conversations il ne répondait jamais à une de mes questions: " qui dois-je appeler pour la remise des clés et à quelle heure pouvons- nous nous donner rdv?" Le propriétaire vit à l'étranger et délÚgue la procédure d'entrée Le jour dit, dÚs le matin je tente d'appeler le numéro indiqué dans l'annonce Le téléphone sonne sur un fax.... J'appelle donc vers midi le service clients Abritel (difficile à joindre) 3 appels le premier personne agréable mais qui ne m'a rappelée qu'à 18h30 , deuxiÚme appel on m'a raccroché au nez personne inefficace et trÚs désagréable, troisiÚme appel enfin un monsieur qui comprend mon problÚme et me met en contact avec le service assistance. Je tiens à préciser que ce service est trÚs efficace et s'est démené pour essayer de nous trouver des chambres d'hÎtel pour nous reloger. J'avais évidemment envoyé plusieurs mails par le site d'Abritel au propriétaire qui ne m'a rappelée qu'une heure avant la remise des clés (peu ou pas d'excuses) et n'a prévenu la personne qui devait faire le ménage qu'une heure avant la remise des clés. Il savait que nous venions depuis le mois de février ...Merci pour le stress et un début de séjour qui commençait fort mal!

TrÚs bon séjour

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour dans cet appartement. La vue est magnifique et les commerces sont Ă  proximitĂ©. La rade et le centre ville sont Ă  environ 20 mn Ă  pieds donc pas besoin de prendre la voiture. Peut ĂȘtre un peu bruyant avec une rue passante en bas de l'immeuble mais rien de rĂ©dhibitoire. La procĂ©dure d'arrivĂ©e a Ă©tĂ© un peu fastidieuse car la personne dont on avait le numĂ©ro n'Ă©tait pas la personne qu'on retrouvait sur place, elle servait d'intermĂ©diaire. Quand on a une voiture, l'adresse de l'appartement n'est pas la mĂȘme que celle du garage donc un peu compliquĂ© Ă  trouver. Il faudrait donner tout de suite l'adresse du garage ce serait plus simple. Nous recommandons cette location.

Une vue Ă  couper le souffle !

Nos interlocuteurs pour la remise des clĂ©s ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs sympathiques. L’appartement est situĂ© dans un immeuble sĂ©curisĂ© avec ascenseur. A l’arrivĂ©e dans le salon, la vue est splendide, elle donne sur la mer! L’appartement est propre, spacieux, fonctionnel avec une grande terrasse. Le parking en sous-terrain est aussi un grand atout de l’appartement. La plage en face de l’immeuble, les restaurants en bas et l’arrĂȘt de bus tout proche permettent de ne pas utiliser son vĂ©hicule du sĂ©jour, un vrai confort! N’hĂ©sitez-pas Ă  rĂ©server ce bel appartement !
