I enjoyed how close it was to restaurants and shops. We had hot water in showers and the heater really heated the space well.
The bed in the back is full size and not a queen. We wish we knew that but there is a pull out bed if the full size doesn't work for you.
Booked the Tabor but morning of, they moved us to Oakley due to some issue. Check in process was simple. There isnât an outdoor mat so the place gets dirty, quick from the dirt parking lot. The tiny house is in a rv park with multiple tiny houses and long term rv people. Super convenient location to be able to walk around. Only one parking spot and someone took ours the first night. Beds were fine. Shower has poor pressure.
The tiny house is an excellent concept, stayed with my two 14 year old daughters for 3 day ski trip and experience was five star- from pricing, to check in, to check out. Within walking distance of restaurants in Leadville, and 5 min drive to Safeway grocery store. House was equipped with everything one needs and very weak kept and very clean. Fully recommend it!
We enjoyed the location of the tiny home community. We came in from Aspen for the Leadville Skijor. The property manager was responsive. Weâre not sure if we will be staying at the Tabor Tiny Home again. The picture notes a table in the living/kitchen area. Instead of the dining table, there were two chairs. There are no hooks or hangers to hang your bags on the walls. These aspects made it feel a bit squished. The shower water was extremely hot only to suddenly turn cold. Another disappointing aspect was the quality of mattresses. The beds were blow up mattresses with minimal sheets, almost hospital-like. I was lucky I had an extra blanket in my car. We have stayed in other tiny home communities such as WeeCasa in Lyons. We really love tiny homes and was really excited for our stay. For the price, I was a bit disappointed. I believe we can find something a bit more home-like.
Family camping trip at nearby Turquoise lake to welcome new great grandson. Great grandpa and grandma wanted more comfortable accommodations. This worked perfectly as campsite was only 15 minutes away. Quiet location and got to experience a tiny home for the first time
Great little place! My family (2 adults, 1 Teen, 1 10-yr old plus our Great Dane) stayed one night here for a quick ski trip to Ski Cooper. We fit :) It was quiet, comfortable and a great location in town.
Wrong passcode given (second time this has happened)
The property itself was great. Very well-designed tiny home that made great use of the space. We felt comfortable and cozy. The wrong passcode to get in was given. Again. So we had to wait outside in negative temperatures in the car while I tried to get a hold of someone. Not ideal, especially with 2 little kids in the car.
Was greatâŠwould have like a âhouse infoâ to help with tv stations, cool/heat controls instructions for âhot plateâ and a stool to get into the first floor bed-4-4 1/2 ft off the floor! Great location and close to main happenings on Main Street.
We had a lovely stay. Only there for one night between mountain hikes. Location was great! Easy in and easy out when we left at 4am. Master bed was a little firm- memory foam. Use of space was very creative. Would stay again!
It was our first time staying in a tiny home and we loved it! It had everything we needed with close proximity to the downtown Leadville area. Thanks so much!
The tiny house was perfect for our weekend getaway! This location is within walking distance to downtown Leadville. We walked to all our meals, a brewery, and other local attractions. The tiny house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
