No A/C! It was super hot when we stayed end of May. Also no hot water in the morning shower. Microwave didnât work either. Itâs a pretty well maintained older property on highway 395 so road noise could be an issue if light sleeper.
Great room. Didnât have high expectations with it being a hotel in a very small, isolated town but this far exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, cozy, and in a great spot right next to a cute cafe. Definitely recommend staying here!
The first room they put me had a poor quality interior door for the outside entrance. It was flimsy and the latch on it wasn't even screwed in securely. It was on a back street and I had to park my truck on the street. There was no one there but there was a worn paper on the office door directing me to go to the hotel across the street. I told them I didnât feel safe and why. It took calling the owner to get a room there. It was minimally better because it was on a main thoroughfare and I propped a chair against the back door.
The property was actually good, but my low rating is because we have been overcharged. If it was rectified without me having to continually hound them, i would not have given such a poor rating, but it is now 2 weeks later, and im still waiting for a correct refund! We have had our visa charged 3 times for a 1 night stay, and they have refunded us for 1 night. Simple maths - they need to refund us for 1 more night. Their response is that they have refunded us. Yes you have - for ONE night. PLEASE REFUND US FOR ONE MORE NIGHT!!! This property was not worth us paying 2 nights charge for one night đ and they've tarnished the rest of my holiday by me having to continually chase this mistake up. Like i said, if they rectified the problem quickly, it would not have been a problem, but at this stage, I've written numerous times and have now got expedia investigating and am looking at who i should report it to next....so it definitely was not worth staying here for the ongoing problems i am experiencing
We stayed in a king comfort room and it was beautifully remodeled and very spacious. However, the mattress was extra firm which may be a bit hard for some travelers as it was for us. There was also a very heavy scent of fragranced fabric softener in the bedding which caused some difficulties with our allergies and asthma. We would recommend that management avoid the use of scented laundry detergent/fabric softener, and consider installing blackout curtains, as the light outside the window comes through the blinds and lights the entire room all night. With a couple of adjustments, this hotel has the potential to be a lovely stay at this price point.
