This place needs a real update. The furniture in our room had termites. The place needs a scrub down. I understand it's an old hotel, but you could hear absolutely everything in everyone's room, plus the hall. Terrible. The complimentary coffee was brown water. We were in room 511 in the Terrace building. Not sure changing rooms would have helped, but a pretty bad couple of days. The place was fully booked so a different room wasn't an option.

Our stay was perfect from check in to checking out. The food on was excellent at the Lakeside Inn. The grounds were beautiful. Las Palmas (Cuban restaurant was great!). Would NOT recommend Olive Italian, sent food back. We toured in a golf cart Mt Dora and "Rooster" was great! Very knowledgeable. We can't wait to return.
