The images are misrepresenting. This cabin itself looked fine but it is in a run down park sitting on wheels on a gravel mound - completely exposed / no privacy and the neighbouring vans are in disrepair. It is surrounding by scrub and next to a huge drain that runs out into the ocean. As a 60 year old woman travelling alone I drove to the park and felt very unsafe and isolated. I returned my keys and found alternate accommodation. The woman at the park store made totally inappropriate comments s about neighbouring van owners when I expressed my concern. Luckily I was refunded after a lot of communication and inconvenience.
This tiny house was perfect for our short stay on a long trip from Nelson to MT Cook. The beach, just a short walk down the path, was incredible. The house had a comfortable bed and bathroom, and the sound of waves lulled us to sleep.
Listening to nature and the beach made this a really enjoyable stay.
Tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet, and the closest unit to access the beach.
Excellent đ
