Welcome to Hidden Hideaway, a charming cabin nestled in a quiet neighborhood tucked in the mountains near Boone and Blowing Rock, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. Located on a private wooded lot with stunning mountain views, this cozy retreat is designed for relaxation and adventure.

Step into the inviting living room, where vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Relax on the leather sofa and take in the breathtaking mountain views through a wall of windows and glass doors that lead to the expansive deck. The well-stocked kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, featuring a dining table that seats eight and can expand to accommodate ten guests. A convenient half bath is located nearby.

The mudroom provides a practical entrance for those returning from hiking or skiing, complete with a washer and dryer for your convenience. The main level also features a luxurious king ensuite bedroom with a TV, ceiling fan, and deck access. The attached bathroom includes a shower and a makeup vanity, adding a touch of elegance to your stay.

Upstairs in the loft, you'll find two full-sized beds and a private bathroom with a shower, offering a cozy and private space for additional guests. The lower level serves as the ultimate family entertainment zone. The king bedroom includes a Roku TV, ceiling fan, and a comfortable seating area. On the other side of the staircase, a family space awaits with seating, a TV, an electric fireplace for ambiance, and an air hockey table. The rock climbing wall, complete with a rope and net apparatus, provides an exciting challenge for children, who can also enjoy the built-in twin-over-twin bunks and attached playset with a slide. The second lower-level bedroom features a queen bed, Roku TV, DVD player, and a small DVD library, perfect for movie nights. A full bath with a combination tub/shower serves the lower level.

The main level deck offers ample seating, including a table and bar, with stunning mountain views. Relax in the hot tub on the covered deck or fire up the gas grill for a delicious meal. Down in the lower yard, a fire pit awaits, ready for an evening of s'mores under the starry sky.

Hidden Hideaway is the perfect mountain escape, combining comfort, entertainment, and natural beauty for an unforgettable getaway.

Additional Notes:
- This home allows up to 3 dogs for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet plus taxes. Mature, crate-trained dogs, only
- Internet is currently through ViaSat. This will stream, but you may encounter delays if trying to stream on multiple devices at the same time. We anticipate fiber being in the area by early 2025.
- Repeat guests returning to Hidden Hideaway can receive a 10% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens are provided for you.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased on a per-night basis at the time of booking or with a week's notice. A night's worth is two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax. Let us know how many nights worth you would like to purchase.
- Hidden Hideaway is in a quiet, residential neighborhood that allows a maximum of two (2) unrelated persons in a property. The neighborhood monitors noise levels, as well.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The road leading to this home starts as paved then turns to gravel and is moderately steep. Home is a distance from a grocery store.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
