I didn't like the lack of staff at the front desk and having to use my key card to go out to my car. On the positive side i did like the Scripture verses and music on the tv in the entrance.
It is a small motel which explains the lack of staff. Overall i would recommend it.
It was not what one would quite expect, but was spotlessly clean and well appointed. In fact, it was really cutely appointed with a lot of quaint personal touches. Who sees a serving tray with a teapot anymore? The only 'thing' is that you have to use a stick, as there are no tv stations. We couldn't get any channels without a lot of buffering, so I ran Netflix off my computer. We would definitely stay there again.
We got home after one night at Wiltshire and noticed bed bug bites.
I phoned the Wiltshire and told them. They said they would call me next day but never did.
Never again.
Clean and bathroom nicely renovated. Curtains had several hooks out. Beds were adequate; bedding was good except the pillows only had a choice of 2. Small fridge and microwave - the latter clunked. (!) Counter and 2 chairs provided a space for a quick meal. The location between the A&W and the Timâs was good for breakfast and evening snack. We would go back for a 1- or 2- night stay. The outside would be more welcoming if they actually planted some flowers in those beautiful planters!
Upon checking into our room we discovered our door did not lock. Staff were at first difficult to deal with but our door was fixed. Our room was quite dirty. There was debris under the bathroom sink, and the sink was clogged and would not drain. WiFi also did not work.
Staff are only present at front desk between 3pm and 10pm, so service was not the greatest, though staff were courteous (which is why we are giving 2 stars and not one)
Overall, this was an unpleasant stay and we will not be staying here again.
Sad that you couldnât take the time to verbally point out but can find time to call me to tell me your charging my credit card a service change of $10.00 for not returning my room key in the bowl at the door.
Hotel does not feel safe that fact that you hand the property front and back door access code out to hotel guests for a hotel that has no hotel staff on premises other then the hours of 3pm till 10pm.
Also having our room key be intermittent on when it work would in our room door was not helpful.
Room was small but clean. Queen bed was definitely a double but the bedding and pillows were nice. The extra blanket offered per bed was a nice unexpected touch.
Great room but had to watch TV from downloads from my iphone no one to help with accessing free TV.
Would have been nice to have bottle of lotion . No one working front desk had to call phone number. Front door locked had to be let in by customer in lobby. Never heard of no one working front desk. Nice clean but being operated as if on a very minimal budget. Not. Tea bags for tea not individually wrapped. No coffee .
Check in at 9 p.m. was great, but we just grabbed the key & left for supper. Upon return at 10:40 p.m., key did not open our room door. There was no staff available until morning. We waited 30 min., called all numbers provided, but no help arrived. We had to leave & find another hotel. I asked for a refund the next morning & was declined. I am told to contact you for a refund. Never entered room.
