The house is very nice and large enough to accommodate quite a few people. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and other items in pantry. Plenty of chairs to be able to sit out on back patio and enjoy the scenery. Check-in process was seemless (we loved the text we received that had all the information at our fingertips).We would definitely go back!

Three-generation fun

A lovely, well-appointed home with everything we needed. The pool was a daily delight, as was a family of bluebirds 'graduating' their fledglings in the yard. Though temperatures were nearly triple-digit, the shade and breeze on the back deck kept us comfortable. We'll be back.

Strickland - Wendel reception and family weekend

We have had the most wonderful stay! This home is just perfect! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and SO BEAUTIFUL! The staff was fast to respond with any questions and went over and above for us even accommodating for us to go by and retrieve items that were accidentally left. The ranch is so peaceful and relaxing. Family was able to spend quality time together and enjoy amenities on-site. This property is fantastic with sunrise and sunset views. Would stay here again!

Awesome Stay

We had an amazing little getaway! Everything was cleaned properly and we had an amazing time! They had seasonings and lots of cookware so we didn’t have to bring any! The pool was clean and very nice in the hot weather. The access to the garage was a small but great addition for us! everything felt very clean and most importantly it felt like a home!

We had a nice time at Oak Hollow. Description was accurate. Shady pool, plenty of room, sauna worked after you tube tutorial sent by property manager (thanks!). Easy check-in and quick response from property manager. Watch out for scorpions!

A Stay Above The Rest is Right!

This property was a treasure to stay at! It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to still get take out and bring it back to the house to relax. There is plenty of yard. Lots of parking. It's truly a secluded haven. The pool is wonderful. It is not heated and can be cold at times but the kids loved it anyway. My husband tried the sauna and enjoyed it. The inside of the house is just as nice. You can tell the property has been taken care of. It was very clean. 3 true bedrooms and an office turned into a bedroom. Very spacious. The beds were super soft and amazing to sleep on. The sheets and blankets were luxurious. The house was well stocked with towels which was appreciated. The cups and plates were labeled so you knew how many and what kind they were. Only two things to note; one is that the back patio does have a small drop off. Something to be careful with kids or dogs and second, because the house is huge there is a lot of echo. It can get loud in there. Overall our stay was amazing. We thought about extending it and when we need to visit Austin again we will use this property. Loved it!!!

Nice home but wanted pool and sauna time.

Peaceful location. Nice decor. Disappointed with pool and sauna. No instructions for sauna, so bring your Google knowledge. Spent first day trying to get pool clean enough for my peace of mind but no luck. Looks like home was cleaned just enough for visitors. Not dusted above eye level or under furniture and rugs and I would expect outside entertaining areas to have been serviced as well for the price. Location was the biggest plus. Far enough in the country for peace and quiet and close enough to town for amenities. Furniture was comfortable. Home floor plan is great.

Great girls' trip destination

Our group of 5 was very happy with our stay. Plenty of space and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Close enough to city life if that's what you're looking for but a great space to get away and just relax.

This property was perfect for getting out of the city and relaxing. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has most everything you need to cook a meal. We enjoyed the pool and sauna!

Fridge broke down

I've tried getting in touch with the management company several times but they keep brushing me off and not helping me. On Saturday night of our stay the fridge broke down and was not cooling properly, and all our food was spoiled. This completely ruined our Father's Day bbq plans. I've asked for a reimbursement for the spoiled food, but every time I contact someone from the management company they tell me they will contact a manager and then I hear nothing back. That's 3 times now that I've asked someone for help and they have not called me back.

Beautiful and relaxing

What a beautiful property to relax and enjoy nature! The home is perfectly stocked with everything you may need for a stay. My 3 recommendations are as follows: The breakfast area needed to be cleaned a bit more around the windows and ceiling. Several cobwebs which is normal but with proper cleaning avoidable. The outdoor furniture either needs to be cleaned really well or replaces. The chair cushions had mold on them which is understandable from sitying on with wet swimsuits. Again with frequent washing that is avoidable. We did let the company know and they apologized. Finally, an advance notice of required and routine outdoor maintenance would be excellent. We had pool maintenance and lawn service on the same day which prevented us from enjoying the outdoors for about 5 hours. Also lawn service came after pool maintenance so the pool was dirty afterwards. We understand these are required and appreciated services but an advanced notice would be great just to plan ahead. Communication is extremely quick and efficient! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for the wonderful mini vacation.

Wonderful getaway!

This place was a treasure! It’s tucked away from the other houses and from the road. It was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the sunrise and lounging around the pool in the afternoon. It had everything we needed. It’s beautifully decorated. Hope to visit again.
