The staff were all wonderful. Very kind, professional, quick to assist, helpful, etc. Zero issues with staff! The room, however, left a LOT to be desired, unfortunately. The water from our shower head didn’t even reach my husband’s shoulders (he’s 5’10”, for reference). It was great for all 5’3” of me when it came to not getting my hair wet, still…not ideal. Our mattress was nothing short of abysmal, truly thought I had sat on just a boxspring when I first arrived, yikes. Painful sleep all 3 nights of our stay due to the low quality mattress that was painfully pressing into my joints & lower back. Bathroom sink had been completely cracked in half with a sloppy repair & there were obviously painted over water bubbles & mold sites from water damage in the ceiling. First year visiting Lillington for my in-laws holiday gathering & while I was thankful to find a hotel in Lillington, & again, the staff was pleasant, I can’t say we would ever repeat book here again. Beyond the above issues, the walls are truly paper-thin & they would do well to invest in sound dampening measures because trying to fall asleep to your neighbor gagging so bad on phlegm they were vomiting wasn’t the magical holiday vibes I was hoping for my first Christmas in North Carolina. This spot for me is a last resort, stay only if you absolutely MUST, & literally have no other options…..Travelers, beware.
