We wanted budget lodging for this trip because all we would do there is shower and sleep. It’s a budget motel as far as facility but had a high price. Minimal towels and no heat the 3rd night inspire of my requests to turn it back on!

We had reservations thru expedia but did not stay...the owner showed us 3 rooms and they all looked very, very old, nasty looking, and were musty smelling. Expedia quoted us one price, i contacted motel and they quoted us $100 more, and that day looked online and price was $100 less than expedia quote. Tried contacting Expedia but could not get them online unless i downloaded an app and didnt want to do that. There was no phone # to call..did get one # from google but noone answered. We had to pay for another room elsewhere..

Safe, comfortable but we were upper level and stairs are narrow footing which is dangerous gor older people. The guest next to us came in late, loud, wild. I was awakened to multiple people being loud and them having sex! Walls too thin!!!

There was poison ivy soap in bath tub, we found after frost night. There was no one at desk at time to complain. The pool which was advertised in picture had no water.

The rooms were basic, but had what was needed. The staff seemed annoyed when I brought a key to get re-magnetized because it wasn’t working. There was also a note that saying if anything is wrong after an hour, it was on us, which I thought was strange.

I liked that it was central to everything I wanted to do, close to places to eat and it was clean. I disliked that the part of the hotel I stayed in had a step to get into the room. You have to step up to get onto the step and then step up into the room. I found this challenging with luggage and was worried I'd fall off the step at some point and hurt myself. However, the offset to being away from the main building is that it was quieter and only one floor. Also, the hair dryer in my room didn't work. I was going to mention it when I checked out but the office was locked. There is a note on the door with a number to call if you need assistance but I didn't bother calling, just left the keycards in the box.
