We have stayed at dozens of VRBO's , eight on this trip , but this one, operated by a third party host, was way below the standards that we have come to expect. Not recommended.
You have to check in at the welcome center downtown, a long process, and then take another taxi to the property. A nice unit but a shabby building, one of the oldest elevators we have been on.
The welcome package was a plastic sheet with rules and the wifi password. No maps or brochures, no instructions on how to use the TV, AC etc, no suggestions for places to eat or shop nearby (there weren't any), no guest book to read previous guests suggestions, no salt, pepper, condiments, dish soap, cooking oil.....nothing. Not all places we stay have everything that one needs but they all have tried to make our stay as comfortable and friendly as possible. We did not "feel like home".
The people that worked for the company were nice and attentive, but they had their business model that they had to follow.
I could go on, but you get the picture.
