The room was quite small, just about enough room to walk round the bed. a bit shabby and there were cobwebs on the ceiling. There was a lamppost outside our window and as the curtains were thin it shined in and kept me awake a bit. One very thin pillow, but we were supplied another one each on request. Tv wasn't tuned in. If you want somewhere just to sleep, shower and make a brew then it's fine but for the price I wouldn't stay again.
Expensive!location not good!Old building. Stay 3 nights ,during check in after 2100, the reception told us leave at 2200 , finally found bathroom no curtain !!!!! Then just wait the next morning; we did remind the reception exchange the towel and add back curtain , finally my room nothing ChANGE after back to hotel!!!!!!
For a budget-priced hotel I was most pleasantly surprised by my one night stay at the maple hotel: check-in was quick and efficient; my ensuite room was quiet; the bed was comfortable with clean white bedding which felt new; the wifi worked; there were tea/coffee making facilities and a full sized fridge. The only very minor downsides I was aware of were: the reception on the TV was poor; there were not enough electrical sockets, and there were some little things in the bathroom that could be updated or repaired (e.g. one of the taps was missing its top panel). The hotel has a good sized carpark and was close to bus stops to the city centre. (Alternatively, the city centre was easy enough to walk to, e.g. Lime Street Station is 1 mile away more or less straight down one road). The hotel doesn't do breakfasts but I did notice that you could buy drinks etc at reception. (There was also a Jacks supermarket a few minutes walk away.)
This hotel is very much well off the beaten track. Not a shop or a pub in sight. ÂŁ5 for a taxi from Lime street station. ÂŁ18 to the airport.
The room was very basic but relatively clean. I personally think I would not stay here again. You get what you pay for I suppose.
Hierdoor moesten we 's-ochtends elders ontbijten.
This hotel should have been condemned when it's surrounding area was. It's 2 star rating is a joke, If I was paid 500/night I would sleep in the car.
