Great for our overnight stay when visiting family. Friendly efficient check in to a spacious room and bathroom. Maybe the decor is a a little dated but good quality furniture, towels and bedding, all well maintained and very comfortable. Everything you need for an overnight stay, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits on the hospitality tray. Excellent breakfast with friendly attentive service, served in the atmospheric bistro. Excellent value too in January. Very likely to return

The check in was easy and staff were welcoming. It would have been a higher rating if they had turned the heating on in the room as both radiators were turned off and the room was very cold when I arrived. It took well over an hour for the room to heat up. Apart from that check in was excellent.

Old, characterful building that we thought must have been recently redecorated, but no, just kept clean and well-presented. Hotel is on an elevated spot away from traffic noise. Plenty of free, easy parking. Warm welcome at reception. Christmas lights had just gone up that day which were tastefully done and looked lovely inside and out. We wanted to go into Leeds City Centre. We drove to the Park&Ride which was easy, efficient and gave a regular service. Definitely recommend this place.

The staff were friendly, the grounds were beautiful. The staff were super communicative in the lead up to the booking, they'd asked if we'd prefer a room away from the hall which was hosting a Motown night since they saw we had an infant with us, and they called on the day to ask if we'd prefer the sofa bed or cot for the infant. They provided a small portion of cooked breakfast for the little guy too which was a nice touch! The only downside was the lack of lift, and we had a lot of luggage to carry up to the room. My little one enjoy the bath tub A LOT! Really big, spacious room.
