Booked a 4 night stay on room only basis. Was it the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at no, however it was a great location, staff were great room was dated but clean and cosy, no double glazing on window that definitely needs looking at. We had a bar meal which was really nice and good value, the swimming pool was lovely and warm and we made the most of it. A great few days walking and relaxing we would go back but I may upgrade our room next time.

I stayed in the Marine hotel for 9 nights in Oct 2025, I can't praise it enough. On arrival the reception staff were very polite and the check in was quick and easy. All staff in the hotel were polite and helpful. The hotel is not a 5 star but has all that you need to enjoy a break. My room was a 3rd floor with sea view, the lift was great. There is a tempting swimming pool which looked clean, I didn't have time to try it out. If you are looking for a low cost hotel, within walking distance of shops etc, I would happily recommend the Marine, as long as you don't mind creaky floor boards. Great value for the price. Thanks to all the staff for their helpfulness and friendliness.

Breakfast was superb, staff were great. The parking was easy to find and felt secure. Comfy bed and pillows. Everything you wanted was there only very slight negative was the squeaky floor boards. Would recommend this hotel.
