The Potential was good for this hotel, but unfortunately I had a room that was really hot and no fan available, on top of this when I opened the window it led onto the back of the hotel where there was some kind of service entrance where deliveries were made and it was noisy.

I found this stay a bit hit and miss. I was first given a room with an unbearably smelly bathroom and unsafe shower (no temperature control and part missing). I mentioned this to reception on way out next morning and on my return in afternoon it appeared nothing had been actioned, so i was given an alternative room which was much better and i would have been happy to extend my stay in the second room. The breakfast was alright, choice ok but nothing outstanding. Coffee was luke warm on 3 out of 4 cups. One of the waiters (Elizabeth) at breakfast was outstanding and an absolute credit to the hotel. Its clear the hotel has done a lot of work to make it comfortable and accessible but this currently looks quite hotch potch with some areas looking more moden than others, it will be interesting to see this hotel in a few years time.

Rooms in poor conditions, extremely hit, the shower doesn't work...poor quality in breakfast. The only positive side the staff very helpful.

There were some damp pathches on the ceiling in our room. The hair dryer was too loud borderline broken. The room was clean however. Staff and food waa lovely and affordable. We had a good stay and would come back

It was lovely.. staff were amazing and friendly.. the big let down was buffet breakfast all were below standard food and looked so over cooked and tasteless.. the knives were very blunt and would not cut food … we had two breakfasts and a room. It was a last minute booking so hadn’t expected it to be so nice. Room and en-suite were large, modern and clean. The staff were lovely! Very helpful and pleasant. The only downside to our stay was the breakfast. Terrible! We only had it once the other morning we had breakfast out as it was so bad! If they could fix that it would be a 5!!

Lovely room - staff were welcoming and friendly! Attending an event with overnight accommodation so did not have time to experience the hospitality of the Spa but everything at the hotel met with great satisfaction and would recommend and will definitely return when next in the area - thank you for your hospitality!
