The hosts are such great people. They make you feel so welcome. The amenities are just what you need. The horses and barn were great for our great grandson. He loves petting the horses and taking walks at the ranch!

This was our second time staying at Faulkner Ranch, and it was just as great as the first! The property is peaceful, well-maintained, and feels like a true getaway. Everything was fantastic! House was spotless and kitchen stocked with all spices you would need! Our great grandson loved the horses. We all enjoyed watching the team roping at the arena. The hosts were the best ever. Did not have a single problem. Will most definitely be staying there again!

Perfect getaway

Great place, the kids loved the horses. Quick communication and resolutions when we needed something. If we venture that way again, we'd book again!*The post should be updated to reflect that the sofa is not a pull out but rather they do provide roll out cots for additional sleeping arrangements.

Great Ranch Setting

We enjoyed our stay at Faulkner Ranch. Everything was really nice and new except one main exception. The beds were very soft and difficult to sleep in since we are used to a firmer mattress. We loved how close to town the ranch is to the city, and yet far enough away to make you feel like you are in a remote area. The horses are fun to see as well!

GREAT PLACE IN LLANO

Stayed there for weekend. The owners were friendly and the place was clean and very nice. The horse stable right next to us was cool as we were able to let our grandson pet them. The owners also were giving ripping lessons that Friday to a couple and it was cool watching them. We were able to totally relax and unwind while we were there.

A Texas treasure in Llano

This quaint farmhouse looks rustic on the outside but is very modern and clean inside. Our kids really enjoyed playing with the horses in the barn next door, and staring at the stars (& a comet!) at night. The owner and his family live in a house nearby and were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Llano, TX is a short drive for resupply, or you can drive to Enchanted Rock and Fredricksburg for more variety. Highly recommend this property for your next country getaway.

Very nice place to stay in the Llano area

Spacious, private ranch with comfortable beds, nice decor, and horses on the property. Supposedly good for star gazing though unfortunately it was overcast when we were there. Definitely recommend.

Petty location far enough away from town but still accessible

Everything was great...there was no trash bag for the kitchen, i am sure they would have brought one if I asked. The property is very nice and the animal's were fun to walk around and visit with them.

Peyton and the owners were great from day 1 to checkout! Very accommodating, great communication and ease of check-in to check out! 100% recommend anyone coming for a roping, barrel race or just relaxing in Llano to stay here.

So happy with this property!

This property is exactly as described. We were very pleased with our stay. The home was very clean and it is in such a nice country setting. We were greeted each morning on the peaceful front patio by the sweetest baby horse in the pin next to us. The property owner was super easy to communicate with, and she was happy to accommodate a special need with some bad weather coming in. We travel a lot, and this was one of our top stays. We were in town for a Longhorn show so we didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked to, so we plan to come back so we can really enjoy it more next time.

Bunkhouse Dream

I was visiting Llano for a wedding and I'm so happy I stayed at Faulkner Ranch. It was so peaceful and the horses were beautiful. Ace, Cooper, Pistol, Sunny, Whiskey girl, and one other that I can not remember his name are all my new friends 😀. The bunkhouse is very spacious and everyone there was very nice. I can't wait to come back and visit again.

Wonderful Wildflower Location

The Faulkner Ranch Bunkhouse is located in a beautiful area near Llano, Texas. It was convenient to town and to many locations where the bluebonnets and other wildflowers were blooming. The property was very clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, The listing and photos are quite accurate. We enjoyed our stay and would book again, if we are ever back in the area.

Great Hill Country Escape

Its an amazing property and a great place to stay. Close enough to town to get supplies while still being out in the hill country. The owners were very friendly but not intrusive. The 2 bedrooms 1 bath rental was perfect for us. We will definitely be booking again and recommend it for others!

Spring Break

Such a beautiful place to stay for a long weekend. Bluebonnets were out, and we had the best weather. The people on the property were so nice, and we had everything we needed. A little taste of country living! We will be back!

Perfect for Families

The Bunkhouse was a perfect home for our family - 2 adults, 4 kids and a dog! - while attending a wedding in Llano. The working ranch added so much to see, and the bunkhouse was clean and cozy — with all the little things (comfy beds and towels, kid friendly plates and cups, games, and plenty of coffee for the parents!). Wish there was a dishwasher, but that’s the only minor critique. Def would stay there again.

Love the property in that it was out of town but still within a 5 min drive into town. Spacious and clean. Nice patio to sit out and enjoy the evening. Host was courteous and answered all our questions. Beds were comfortable , nice kitchen set up. OVERALL 👍👍👍👍👍
