Nice two bedroom unit with DirectTV, Wifi, hot tub, firepit, grill, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and one bath. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be within walking distance of Hocking House. 1 hot tub and laundry facilities are available. The cabin includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

This is a secluded and quiet location. There were good and bad things about our stay. Everything was in order as we entered. It was nice and warm inside, the temperature was set perfectly. It did have that old cabin smell to it, which took awhile to get used to. We noticed as time progressed how dirty the floors were. You quickly find out once you get in the shower and see all the dirt coming from the bottom of your feet. The bed we chose to sleep in was less than comfortable. When me and my wife got into bed, we both were pulled to the middle. The mattress could use an upgrade. Furniture was older and not very comfortable to sit in but we made do. The bathroom was clean though and plenty of clean towels and washcloths were provided. Afterwards we did look at some of their other cabins online, some of them looked nicer than the one we chose. At this time we are unsure if we would ever come back again.

Dirty, old, smelly. The VRBO ratings for this place are a joke. It’s at best 2/10. Needs completed updated. Appliances are junk. Furniture is junk. Place was filthy. Would not use again or recommend.

Host did not respond to my inquiry about linens. “Luxury” is not a word I would use for rusted appliances, mattress so broken down it was unusable, dirty freezer, used scrubber for dish washing, light bulbs out, knob to turn on bedside light missing…shall I continue? 300/night was robbery!!

The carpets in the bedrooms are filthy. The hot tub was so over chlorinated you could hardly breathe while you were in it and the controls were broken so controlling the hot tub was extremely difficult. The grill doesn't get very hot so give yourself lots of time for cooking.

The cabin was nice and cozy. Hot tub was excellent. I found the couch and chairs needed a little update. They weren't very comfortable. The bed was ok, but not great. It felt like you were rolling down hill. All in all it was a decent place and we had a nice visit. The front porch and the peace and quiet were nice.

Get what you pay for

We weren't expecting 5 star resort quality, but were rather disappointed. Property was not clean inside, hard floors were dirty and not even swept, carpet had not been vacuumed. Mattresses were well worn and uncomfortable. "Couch" was an uncomfortable wood log frame with a futon mattress. Hot tub functioned but the control panel is broken and you have to play with the buttons to turn on jets, also was very strong on the chlorine. Area around hot tub was piled with old wet leaves you had to walk through to remove the cover. When you make the first turn off the main highway into the property it looks like a scene from the hills have eyes, massive junkyard and kind of creepy. When they say you need a 4x4 in the winter believe it, I wouldn't even drive a car in the summer due to risk of damaging the underside. The road up to the cabin is dirt and loose large rock with washouts on the sides.The good: The cabin is secluded and peaceful, it suffices for a couple day couples getaway if you just want to get away from the city and explore Hocking Hills which was beautiful.
