Sieri glen was a lovely cabin—clean, up-to-date, and beautiful surroundings. One Star was easily deducted for the following. 1. The stairs leading to the upper level are sketch. Some boards are pretty narrow and some have large gaps between the steps. I would not recommend for little ones that are exploring (unless you bring a baby gate) or anyone that’s a little unsteady or afraid of heights (I am not afraid of heights and still felt the need to be extra cautious on the stairs). 2. The main level has no sound proofing, even with doors shut. I recommend figuring out how the kids can stay downstairs. 3. It was the first cool weekend in Ohio and we were looking forward to using the fireplaces. All docs told us they were wood burning and to bring our own firewood. So we did. Only to find out they were both gas and were not operable. We called maintenance on Friday evening and were promised a visit the next morning to fix them. They did not come until 5:00p. So for 75% of our stay, the fireplaces were useless.

It was overall nice but not great. Supplies were clean and nice. However, few things needs to be upgraded. For ex: Fire pit was broken, Kitchen didn't have chopping board, Pool table sticks were broken, internet wifi wasn't working well on the lower floor etc. Therefore the price we paid seems to be on the higher side for an average cabin.

Hocking Hills Get away

We loved this cabin! It had everything as listed and met our needs. Perfect space downstairs for the 5 grandchildren to play and sleep. They loved the pool table, foosball and hot tub. There were plenty of bath towels and blankets. The gas fireplaces warmed the cabin nicely. We were concerned about the upper bunk bed- too much space between the mattress and guard rail for our comfort. Also the step 3rd from the top going to the second floor had a bit too much space for comfort. We would love to stay there again and gave it 5 stars!

Great Large Group Value Property

This stay was a great value for our group. The property was very clean when we arrived and there was plenty of space for everyone. We were disappointed that the main fireplace did not work during our stay, we communicated with property and maintenance was quick to come out and even returned the next day to fix the apparent broken part but after he left it still wasn’t working. Also, the tv in the basement didn’t seem to be working for us, we didn’t look into that too much as we spent more time upstairs but worth looking into. I’d recommend bringing extra toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels as there were minimal replacements available and with a large group over several days we went through what was provided quickly. Other than those few hiccups this was a great space with plenty to do!

Hocking hills stay

This was a great cabin to stay in. Loved the hot tub and pool table. Had a mishap with the booking and the host was extremely professional and accommodating. Highly recommended this cabin!

Needs some TLC

Beautiful, large cabin, shower toiletries included, secluded in location and close to everything. Needs some TLC though. States it sleeps 12, however, only 4 glasses, not enough plates, bowls, bath towels, etc. Bath towels and sheets are stained and look dirty, pots and pans broke, blinds on the sliding doors broke, never could get the main TV to work (we assume it was a WiFi issue after reaching out to owner without a solution). Cleaning seems to be an issue as there was food on the floor, the futons in the basement were dirty, candy/gum stuck on a comforter, old food in glassware in the oven, large amounts of dust on fans, fire pit was a pile of rocks which we fixed and hot tub was smelly and cloudy. When we got there, there was a note stating that our towels were in the dryer. Simple fixes, but it needs attention. Has the potential to be an amazing rental.

Family Get Away

It was a great time and a wonderful cabin. There were a few "upkeep" items that were less than perfect, but nothing outside of normal. I would recommend this renter and property to anyone.

Beautiful Cabin, Amenities Lacking

The cabin is beautiful and the location is excellent. We were disappointed with the lack of certain amenities. There was no shampoo or shower soap in any of the bathrooms. There was no ice in the ice maker and no ice trays to make ice. There was one hair dryer for three bathrooms on three levels. Half of the jets did not work in the hot tub. The barbecue requires matches or other fire starter and none are provided. Coffee is not provided so you should bring your own.

Private! Private! Private!

Everything was not perfect but nothing in life is. No major aggravations and everyone has a great time. The property is beautiful, is close to lots of activities if you wanna go out. Had a huge fire pit out back. Lots of rocking chairs on the back of the wrap around deck. Very private and peaceful. If you are considering another place the same size I recommend Sieri Glen, you won't regret it.
