Clean .Spacious. Next to picadilly line ( about 15 minutes by walk) .Perfect place to visit London.
Farid is reagent . thanks.
I recommend this adress.
We really enjoyed our stay !!! Close to easy access to tube and all major london attractions. The apartement is also close to local shops and restaurants. Us feel at home. Thanks Farid.
Comfortable home south of the Thames. Just a note: if you are unable to use public transportation Uber rides to central London are pricey because the the Hammersmith Bridge, although very close by, is only open to pedestrian traffic, Would recommend for families with teens.
We booked this property for a visit to Wimbledon, and it was an excellent choice. Itâs in a great location and is easily walkable to the foot bridge and a few nice restaurants, and had great access to Uber and local busses. The house was spacious and felt comfortable to live in. It was exactly as advertised and we would absolutely book it again.
My family of four with two teenagers stayed for a full week. The house is perfect for a long stay. The master and second bedroom beds were comfortable and large enough for two adults, the sofa bed in the office worked well for my teenager. Having 2 1/2 baths made mornings much easier and the convenience of a full kitchen can not be overstated. We fell in love with Barnes and hated to leave. Having bread, eggs, milk, and juice waiting for us made it feel like we were visiting family and made that first rough morning after traveling much nicer. Communication with Farid was impeccable. I was concerned we would be too far from London, but we enjoyed the short walk to Hammersmith station in the mornings and the slightly longer commute was more than compensated by the benefit of staying in a quiet, safe, and absolutely beautiful village. Thank you Farid!
The village in which this house sits is so cute has all the amenities one might need. It seemed very safe and had access to buses and with a lovely 20 minute walk over the Hammersmith bridge, the Hammersmith tube station. The house itself was well-appointed, with everything you might need to be comfortable. The owner was also quick to reply to contact, and was very helpful. We got lost finding the place when getting there (it is down a little secluded walkway), and with a quick phone call, he guided us right to our destination. He had even put some food in the fridge for breakfast for us!We spent a lot of evening time in the living room watching some Sherlock from the easy-to-use entertainment center on the comfortable couch, and also cooked a few meals in the kitchen, and everything was great. My husband and I typically complain about the comfort of the beds in a rented room, but not this time! The beds were super comfy, and we slept like babies after all of the London sight-seeing!Just so potential renters know, the house is most likely fairly old (like much of London), so some newer things like vents in the upstairs bathrooms or floors that arenât creaky are absent, but that doesnât mean it was anything but clean and lovely. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend a visit!
For a first trip to London and a first trip staying in a Vrbo, this was absolutely wonderful. Farid the property owner was super helpful with the entire process. We were able to check in a little bit early when our flight got in before we were expecting and he was very gracious with the checkout process as well. Ease of access to City center wasn't great, the 15-minute walk across the pedestrian bridge into Hammersmith to catch the tube wasn't always ideal, but at no point did we feel unsafe or hindered by the process. All in all, I highly recommend and would absolutely stay with them again!
Barnes is on the shores of the Thames River. There is a foot bridge from Barnes to Hammersmith which is located on the other side of the Thames River;10 minute walk where u find a subway that takes u directly to the heart of London in 20 minutes. The district line stops at Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, St James Park, Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Square, as well as Heathrow Airport .There is another subway line at Hammersmith that takes you directly to Westminster.. The house was very clean, beds and furniture were comfortable. The host was excellent with communication.
This spacious and comfortable home was in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our daily stroll across the Hammersmith bridge to the tube station. The host was very helpful and prompt with his replies to my messages. His tips for getting around London and to-and-from Heathrow were excellent. This first time visitor to London was most appreciative!
Clean, comfortable, spacious house in a nice location
We had a lovely stay in this house. It's a good location but you have to be ready to walk a little, at least at the moment since the Hammersmith bridge is only open to pedestrian traffic. Instead of a short bus ride to the Hammersmith Underground station, it's about a 15 minute walk. But from there, all of London is easily accessible. The house was quite comfortable. The neighborhood was charming, with several small restaurants that were very good. Only small compaints. The kitchen could have been better equipped. The bed in the office worked better on the floor. It's tricky to find the place in the dark; it's about 30 yards down a path that's not well lit.
Warm house (essential in the middle of a London storm!), quiet, amazing location, great walking access to Hammersmith station over the bridge and along the Thames tow path. Make sure you read the hosts instructions for access, it is tucked away. Perfect for our group of 3.
Host was very responsive and accommodating, very much appreciated.
The host Farid, is probably the best communicator and helpful person you will find. The place is tucked away and quiet. It has good access to get into central London an the local area of Barns and Hammersmith has lots to do and some great bars and restaurants.
