The room was clean. The shower had no hot water and was set up so that it ran all over the floor due to a poor design once that was fixed. The wifi was inconsistent at best and did not work for more than a few minutes causing us to lose an Uber we needed and making it impossible to plan or reach people. Not good.

It was very noisy until late at night. It was so strange, there were persons knocking at others doors late at night, a lot of unusual va-et-vient.
There was no security check.
The room, lifts and alley were clean. The hotel is well located, near 2 subway stations, buses, restaurants, grocery, etc.

I booked a double room with window but was assigned to a tiny double room with no windows. We needed to take baggages up and down some stairs in the basement. Air quality not good and the ceiling is low too that made my wife feel sick. They didn’t change room for us in the first place. After our repeated solicitation, Receptionists finally sent us the upper floor. Room cleaning service was very good. They also offered umbrella rental at £2 on rainy days. Walkable to Central line subway.
Was a little nervous when we read some negative views just b4 our stay but room was lovely and clean, friendly staff especially the man who served us our cocktails, only building work we saw was the scaffolding outside which did not affect our stay in the slightest.
Staff weren't helpful, hotel under construction windows covered in solid plastic and scaffolding, room cleaning and restocking terrible, very hot air conditioner not working

The hotel was clean and tidy. Realise refurbishments going on but not enough storage space for 3 people ie chest of drawers. Also hot water took ages to come.

The re is building work being carried put and we wete put into the mmezzanine floor which shpulf have been clised off during theze times eorkmem walking round the corridors amd ourside windows meaning we had to keep the curtains closed at all times! Also these were fall8ng off the rails! It was unsafe and terrinle
Air conditioning don’t work, was in the ground floor no windows and room was so hot. Two fans going all night and was horrible and disgusting. Bad stay and hotel staff were unhelpful.
Overall, my stay was ok. Pros, fast/easy check-in, great location and the remodeled room was clean. Cons, I expected a small room but would’ve expected the space to be efficiently staged. For instance, a luggage rack would’ve helped since there is no storage for clothes, etc and to provide more than two hangers. Also, the bed was way too firm and the linens were stiff and very uncomfortable. Would not stay again.
Lovely hotel, room was very compact but fine for a 1 night stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was great for Paddington station and Queensway tube just around the corner.
