I liked that when I requested a room on a higher floor that they were able to accommodate my request. The security doors between the elevators and the hall to the rooms was a nice security feature.

No AC in rooms. This needs to be listed explicitly on Expedia listing. Otherwise your customers are going to be surprised/shocked like me. Had terrible experience related to this part, given summer in London.

The location of the hotel is excellent - very close to the tube station and the British Museum. A lovely hotel room with very comfortable beds and very clean. The only thing that I was not happy with is that we were charged a 15% service charge for sitting outside and having table service at The London Pub which belongs to the hotel. We were not made aware of this when we sat down and when paying the bill I was not told about the 15% service charge nor was I given I receipt. I was only told this after I queried why £5 extra had been added to my bill. I was not impressed with this.

It's in a good location and has clean rooms. Could be a little noisy at night, but it didn't get super loud at any point. Near a station for the Underground or is a 15 minute walk to King's Cross. Safe area with good selection of restaurants nearby.

Cozy smaller hotel located in the same building as Royal National. Looks freshly renovated. Terrific staff, spotless room, super comfy bed and all in an amazing location. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at the city sleeper many times over the last three years. The rooms were what we were expecting clean large and comfortable. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms and at 28° outside it was a hot sticky night however there is a fan that’s provided, but it doesn’t really do much to make the room bearable. Unfortunately, The check-in, checkout and particularly the left luggage guy were rude and unhelpful. The left luggage guy literally opened the door and said no room before promptly telling us we needed to go down into the basement to leave our luggage, which is the other side of the hotel and down a floor. When I told him that I was disabled and couldn’t walk that far with my luggage and that would be difficult for me to get to he basically shrugged his shoulders and told there was a lift! Thank you to manager Paula who sorted things out for us and managed to find room for my one suitcase!

Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable. The citysleeper rooms have modern decor and clean bathrooms. However, the shower was completely unusable due to the abysmal water pressure. It was a dribble. It was so bad, it would prevent me from booking this hotel again.
