The staff was lovely
The facility is not great, old and ran down...
If you are looking for something quick and cheap, that does the job, then this would be perfect.
It is fairly quiet and accessible by public transport.
The location itself is not fancy
The breakfast was cold and not fancy
Amazing and the staff/manager was so helpful and lovely . The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The bathroom was lovely with a good size shower.
It was okay. Receptionist was pleasant. The room was tidy (though carpet was worn, also ripped undeneath the window). The bathroom was modern and excellent, with a good supply of essentials with a modern radiator. The TV couldn't be operated as was pixated, giving a code.
The room was cold at night as the radiator was permanently turned off. The window required curtains as only blinds available which did not close properly so had light coming in throughout the night. The room key couldn't lock the door whilst out of the room which was a concern, so I had to go for breakfast with my bag/valuables.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The setting was welcoming and with lovely breafast options available - THANK YOU
I stayed one night at the hotel. For the price and location near the DLR it is a great option. I paid ÂŁ55 for one night which is about right. Anything more then I think you would start to question things as it is all very basic.
Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was included in my stay but I left before it opened so cannot comment on that. Will stay again if I can get a deal for around the same price.
Not the greatest 3 star hotel. The room was basic. Bed was comfortable and clean.
Upon returning to my room on Sunday after running a half marathon, a member of staff snapped at me about ringing the buzzer 3 times to open the door. I only rang it 3 times because I was unsure whether anyone was there to open it.
That did not stop them giving me a lesson on doorbell etiquette.
It was the last thing I needed after finishing a half marathon.
