Great hotel for a short stay in London. Room was quiet, a bit narrow, however within the range of what the city offers for the price. But, more than the confort, the best value of the hotel is its location, really close from the Paddington station, it offers easy access to the whole city and airport. Definitively a very good compromise. Also very close from Hyde Park for a fresh green walk.
ONLY good to sleep and practical for hanging around the city. The room was tiny, and we could hear outside noises from our bed⊠not the best.
Also, we got disturbed in the morning (9-10 oâclock) for the cleaning service (we were sleeping !!!) and the host staff once knocked to alert us for some fire alarm while I was using the hairdryer⊠curious system as it didnât ring in our room! Donât recommend.
Very practical place for single travelers. Would say perfect for very kind personel and overall cleanliness however room a bit too small for my canadian tastes. Amir is a very kind receptionist, I forgot my tobacco pipe on the counter in the lobby and he came to my room to bring it back to me.
Lovely quiet room but the 6 flights of stairs we had to walk to get to our room was exhausting. Staff could have offered assistance with luggage and they need to advertise that there is no elevator available. I would not recommend the property to anyone with mobility issues.
Booked this hotel through hotels.com and paid in full. Went to check in and we was told our booking had been cancelled. They insisted they hadnât taken payment even though it was showing out of our bank. A list was shown of another 8 bookings being cancelled. To add even more insult we have been asked for a review on our stay!
Lucky escape from first glance!
