Hit and miss

It took several calls to VRBO on day of arrival to get the access details, eventually received at 4.30pm. Check in time was 3pm. Zero communication from owner, so we didn't get the accurate address of the property until the access email arrived, which made our 150 mile journey somewhat stressful and difficult to organise without having an end point. On arrival, wifi access codes didn't work, so tv wouldn't work either as it's a Smart tv. Appartment was clean, but very hot, although we were in the middle of a heatwave. Having the windows open meant the noise from the trainline immediately next to the property was deafening, and the overhead planes from Heathrow every 2 minutes were annoying. Overall, if you need somewhere basic to stay and don't worry too much about home comforts or hanging up clothes, it is reasonable value for money - if I wanted luxury I should have spent more!
