This hotel is in a very safe area with coffee shops and healthy quick bite options directly across the street. Staff were excellent and when we needed some emergency paper work printed, they were very helpful and printed off the necessary papers for us. I will stay here again in the future.

Lovely overnight stay

The communal areas were really smart. Our room was perfectly adequate, however I had booked a superior room and it didn’t feel that superior more standard. Also I was pleased that we didn’t need the air con on overnight as it was really noisy. Breakfast had very good options

The hotel was beautifully presented and clean throughout. The food served was very tasty, with ample choice of breakfast food. Unfortunately, the hotel service was underwhelming to say the least. We arrived to find our booking did not include the free breakfast and it was “sorted”. The following day, I checked my bank to see that I had been overcharged for the free breakfast which meant back to reception and a 3-5day wait for a refund.The bedroom had lots of great amenities including slippers, robes, coffee machine, docking station etc. However, the room was only set for 2 people and there were 3 guests, with no robe and towel for one guest, no coffee pods and only two mugs. The little details go a long way! During our stay, the most disappointing experience was the dinner in the hotel restaurant. We were the ONLY 3 people in the restaurant and we were there for 2 hours. The service was diabolically slow, it took about 20minutes for our coffees to arrive and when they did they were foul. We were offered a replacement which unfortunately still didn’t taste great. When the bill came, I asked to remove the service charge and was asked why, which I thought it was quite clear why, but also unprofessional to ask. When checking out we were asked about our stay to which I explained the above. We were then asked on the spot what rating we were going to give and told that anything under 9 is bad for the business which I felt pressured, awkward and unprofessional.

E' in buona posizione rispetto al centro, vicino a 3 fermate di metropolitana anche se non vicinissimo, bisogna camminare un po'. Le persone alla reception e alla colazione la mattina sono gentili, professionali e molto disponibili, alcuni veramente molto speciali (per esempio Francesco è eccezionale). La colazione è abbondante. Purtroppo però le stanze sono da ristrutturare, hanno ancora una obsoleta e poco igienica moquette. Il personale delle pulizie non fa bene il suo lavoro, le stanze vengono pulite male, i bicchieri e le tazze non vengono lavati, non vengono rifornite le capsule per il caffè in camera anche se il servizio è compreso nel prezzo. Per farsi dare delle capsule bisogna chiedere e insistere più volte. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, ci sono molte cose ma sono sempre le stesse, va bene se ci si ferma una o due notti ma per un soggiorno lungo diventa seccante. Non c'è mai un dolce tipico, qualcosa di extra...insomma la colazione è da rivedere. Sono stata in tanti alberghi Accor e questo è quello che mi è piaciuto di meno, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la pulizia delle stanze.

Perfect except one thing.

So enjoyed the trip. Only downside was lack of prosecco or cava in the bar. Had invited two friends for some fizz to celebrate their major wedding anniversary before going out. Enjoyed up buying the one sole bottle of champagne so as not to spoil things. Way too expensive. Said it was to do with them having a French theme going on.

It is in a convenient area, about a ten-minute walk from several Tube stations and central to travel to other neighborhoods. The hotel itself was adequate. Traffic sounds were very audible from the room, although at night this was not an issue. Although clean, amenities and care were wanting. The shower only has shampoo and body wash (conditioner was available when requested and we had to collect it from reception), but the body wash dispenser was empty. We asked them for more and a new dispenser was left on the desk rather than mounted in the shower. The room was only sporadically cleaned. One towel of two would be folded, used cups and glasses were not replaced or necessarily cleared away, and coffee and tea were not restocked. The internet was slow.
