Majestic stay in the heart of London

Majestic hotel renovated to mimic early beginnings in 1880. Very comfortable but room felt dated after newer hotels we had stayed in until you realize it is a beautiful traditional decor fitted out with Royal Doulton bathroom fittings. Never imagined I would stay in Trafalgar Square, we easily walked down Whitehall to Westminster and the next day to Oxford, Picadilly and Regent Street. Plug in basin not working and couldn't work out the air conditioning but if it had worried us, we would have contacted the staff.

The best service I have experience dina London Hotel in years. Staff attentive, friendly, happy and exceed expectations - both day and night staff. The rooms are a little tired and I couldn't find a safe, but the beds are super soft, clean linen, towels, bathroom, carpets, wardrobe, etc. I asked for directiosn - they were brilliant. I lost my room key, no trouble for a replacement, I needed a taxi, sorted and even brought me a post it note out with the reg number on it. Very easy to find, impressive lobby, excellent staff, comfy beds, clean room, great location

Bathroom and closet were too small. "Living Room" was lovely. Great coffee. Liked the hall closet of things travelers may need. Overall, a nice stay, albeit a bit tight. Would’ve been more comfortable with a larger space.

Great location, but it’s not the only hotel there. Property needs a serious makeover, it feels outdated. Nobody to help you with the luggage when you get out of your cab. No doorman. No ramp, you have to carry your luggage up the front steps. There is a lift in front for handicap access, but it’s locked and no one visible to assist. What are you supposed to do? Leave your luggage unattended in the street and go inside to the lobby to ask for help???

Great place to stay!

This hotel was the perfect location for us. The beds and pillows were super comfy. We loved the ice and filtered water stations on the floor, with reusable bottles. We would definitely stay here again!

True to its name - Grand in every way. Perfect location in the heart of London with extremely friendly and courteous staff that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Had opted for a twin room which was very spacious and clean with cozy beds. Much needed air conditioning worked fine in the middle of the heat wave in London. Will certainly consider returning back to this hotel during further trip to London and very highly recommend to any traveler visiting London.
