Poor poor stay
I had a very disappointing stay at this so-called 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, after taking full payment, I was told my room was not ready because they had offered other guests a late checkout. When I pointed out that this was not my problem and that I had booked and paid for a room from 3pm, the staff continued to justify themselves by saying the other guests were "members" and therefore had priority. It felt like they were trying to make it my issue rather than owning their poor management. After a long back and forth, we were eventually given a room, but the attitude clearly showed that guest service is not their priority.
What made the experience worse was how dismissive the staff were—it even made me question if race played a role, as we are Indian and felt unfairly treated compared to how other guests were being handled. Regardless, no 5-star hotel should treat paying guests this way.
Breakfast service was equally poor— painfully slow, and I’m still waiting for the almond coffee I ordered.
Overall, this was nowhere near the standard of a 5-star experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting professionalism, respect, or basic hospitality.
