We were extremely disappointed with this "hotel". The Thistle was definitely not as advertised. The room was very tiny, the bathroom extremely small and with bedroom furniture outdated and very worn. The windows were grimy and cloudy. Air Freshener was highly utilized throughout the hotel and more in the room to cover up any questionable smells. Not to mention the corridors could barely accommodate 2 travellers, going in different directions, with luggage. My husband and I will never stay there again.

Staff are fabulous

The staff here are amazing - very friendly and cheerful and couldn’t be more helpful! Really convenient for terminal 5 with the bus just a few minutes’ walk away. Comfortable room, decent breakfast. The only (tiny) gripe was that there was only 1 towel between the two of us, but that might have been because our room was changed at the last minute.

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy. The Heathrow Express can get you to central London in 25 minutes. We stayed here because prices in central London were insane and we could get down there using the train. The bar and restersunt were a pleasant surprise with the food and drinks being excellent.
