A solid option for access to Death Valley

This is an older motel, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its an wasy walk to food option. Highly recommed the Totem pole for a solid tasty meal. Theres a supermarket as well, and a laundromat in town.

This property was super clean, I was expecting a low grade motel for the price. That was not the case, room was extremely nice, bedding was clean and cozy. The check-in process was smooth and quick, 5min max. I’d definitely stay here every time I’m in the area.

Minimum effort. No coffee in lobby. Threadbare towels. Scratchy sheets. Shutters for curtains did not block the many lights in the parking lot. Made sleeping difficult. The hotel sign lights only half of then worked. It was clean.

Hotel is old- but you can see if used to be popular. Property & rooms are old & small. The pool is the size of a postage stamp. But everything is clean. And the pool is nice (just small). Front desk was nice.

This place was perfect for one night stop on the way up to Mammoth. The room had a weird misty odor initially, which dissipated once we turned on the air conditioner. Aside from that, everything was great! Staff were friendly, room was clean, and location is central to food, gas and shops.
