It was an excellent experience, very enjoyable on so many levels. The people that greeted us and served us at the restaurant were so kind and funny. Food was soo good! The front desk lady was a joyful interaction. She answered all of my off-the-wall questions. The sweet we stayed in was magnificent. Well be doing this all again thank you!

At 3 am the front screen fell off the fireplace and literally crashed to the floor! We woke up terrified, and then were concerned about gas leaking. Once we finally realized it was just the frame, we tried to go back to sleep. Very unsettling. These things happen, we realize. But was extremely disappointed that when we told the staff about it next morning, they did not offer any apology, or even seem concerned. Just said, "we'll tell maintenance." I explained how it had totally disrupter our sleep, and she repeated "I'll tell maintenance." Still no apology or offer of any compensation. Then we told, we had an added "resort fee" of $15 to our card!!! Also, we were not informed about the breakfast, so missed that. It was disappointing as the place was lovely, and we had really been looking forward to a relaxing night - it was our 50th wedding anniversary! The room was great, comfortable, nice, welcoming. Great view of the ocean. So my review is mixed. I think if the staff would have shown just a small amount of concern or interest, I could have accepted the incident as just a part of life. It was the lack of concern that left us feeling disappointed.

The jetted tub in room was wonderful, and they even had rubber ducks that added a personal touch. The room was cozy and very clean. The staff at check-in were very polite and personable. Definitely recommend staying here

We had an incredible time! The staff was so helpful and friendly! We stayed in a beach suite w/jetted tub and fireplace. The studs and restaurant onsite are top notch! Clay gives the best massages! The room was delightful, but it was impossible to get the room dark. There is a large window at the top of a wall that let's light in all night (porch light). It would also be nice to have an actual coffee pot rather than two coffee bags for a five day stay. Aside from this, we intend to stay again, but look for a room without the large upper window.

I loved staying in the loft of the beach house. It was so cozy, well apportioned and had a stunning view of the sunset and ocean from the living room. The soaking tub was divine. I love that it's eco friendly. No plastic containers. The walk to the beach was an adventure through the beach grass (cuz why go down the road when you can wind down narrow sandy paths?!) It's going to be my "go to" place. All the staff were very friendly and personable. They made check-in very easy. I can't think of a single thing that I didn't just absolutely love about the loft.... OK maybe the interesting door dance to the bathroom, but it was a fun game. It's worth the trip!

It was a good stay but there was a bait and switch. I was told that I rented an ocean view which didn't happen. When I arrived they said it was a mountain view instead but it didn't have that either. It would have been good if I had received the ocean view that I paid for. Guessing they gave my room to someone else instead of what I paid for
