Great Pocono location - close to so many destinations. House was roomy, clean and well maintained. Walk out back door to hot tub, or fire pit, or lake. Outdoor community pool within walking distance. One plumbing issue was handled within a couple of hours. Would return to this house.

House was actually larger than it seems. all bedrooms on second floor. There are 5 bedrooms. One is the bunk bed room. Not sure why it says bonus room. The lake is great. Beautiful spot to sit and kayak. The grill was fantastic. Weber 2 burner and the starter worked and everything. The community amenities are nice. Beach being the best. Outdoor community pool is fun as well. When we had issues or questions avantstay fixed them right away. Hot tub needed chemicals and a mini split leaked. Both were addressed immediately. Overall a great stay.

Great Location Small Bedrooms

The outdoor experience was very good: the house is next to a lake, there are plenty of chairs with a nice view, and there is a hot tub and a gas fire pit. The indoor experience was not that good. Poorly designed layout. With the exception of the master bedroom, the bedrooms are very small, with no dresser, table, or chest of drawers. There is a small closet. However, one of the bedrooms has no closet and no where to put your clothes. All bedrooms are on the second floor, with one bathroom to serve four bedrooms. There is a full bath next to the kitchen on the first floor and another full bath in the basement.The entire floor of the house has woodgrain linoleum, without a single area rug. Although the kitchen is large, the counterspace is minimal since there is no island.Most of the windows do not have screens, so beware of the bugs when you open them. Although there is a gas grill on the deck, both gas cylinders were empty.No complaints about the game room in the basement. We really appreciated being able to take our dog. Also, the management company was responsive to our complaints and brought over a nice gift basket.

Fun Pocono Getaway Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of 3 couples looking for a long weekend getaway from the city, and this house was perfect! Our stay was during the “shoulder season” in late March so it was very quiet and peaceful. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities this property offers, but we still enjoyed our stay nonetheless. I would imagine this is a great property during the summer .. We will definitely return at some point. And I can’t say enough good things about AvantStay as the property managers. First class operation with great communication and responsiveness. All in all it was a perfect getaway !

Enjoyed the home overall. Pretty inside, clean, and beds comfy. Relatively close in proximity to ski areas. Great open space. Game room areas were fun. Knew the pool table was small, but surprised that the ping pong table was as well. Stayed during winter months, but believe the outdoor experience would be great in the spring/summer.

fun house but encountered some major and minor issues.

Rented this home for a weekend girls trip for 10 people. Overall had a great time but there is definitely some room for improvement. The pros: - lots of space, large couch and dining table - rather clean - plenty of bathrooms and sleep space - lots of activities at the house (game room, hot tub, kayaks, fire pit) - close to fun activities in the area - not too close to other houses - well decorated - kitchen has tea, coffee, some spices, oil the cons: - the heat did not work the first night. it was freezing outside and only the heat in the basement worked. we tried to follow the posted directions but the house did not heat up. we attempted to contact the host at 9pm, but we did not get a response until the morning. this was unacceptable as there was truly no working heat. Upstairs temperatures remained in the 50s overnight so we all had to wear multiple layers and had difficulty sleeping. (@vrbo we'd like to get some money back for this - we effectively felt like we were camping) -ultimately when we were able to get in touch in the morning, we were instructed to fix the circuit breaker in the garage. however, there was a sign on the door to the garage that said the garage is off limits. we would have tried to do that the night prior if the garage had been accessible to enter. in addition, there were no lights in the garage (or if there were, we could not find them) -kitchen lacked coffee filters -bathrooms lacked hooks for towels -could use some rugs for cold floors

Great spot for a Girls Weekend!

Loved our stay. Super comfortable house with nice accommodations. Hot tub was awesome and the beds were comfy! We loved the kitchen/dining area! It was great for everyone to hang out while we cooked. Would recommend bringing some extra serving dishes and bowls for cooking. The kitchen supplies were more basic.
