Overall, great property and super helpful team with AvantStay. Beds were very comfortable, house was overall in good shape. Place could use some reconditioning though. Stove had deep stains, the house had a few drafty areas so weatherstripping probably needs replacing, a few other spots needed a fresh paintjob, and the hottub definitely felt like it needed a cleaning. Our party had a great time though, spacious home, beautiful property and very relaxing. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great time here! The house is beautiful, cozy and really well set up for guests. Even though our stay was short (a little less than two days), it still made our trip super enjoyable and you can tell the hosts have put a lot of thought into making it a nice place to stay.One thing for future travelers to know: the fees ended up being higher than the nightly rate itself. With the two-fifty cleaning fee built into the host fees, especially for such a short stay; we were surprised by the checkout requirements (taking out all the trash, starting the dishwasher, running a load of laundry and, if you’re there on Wednesday, rolling the trash bins to the curb, which could mean taking out garbage left by earlier guests). It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of when budgeting or packing up at the end.The host did text to ask if everything was okay, which we appreciated. We replied that the Keurig was leaking from the bottom, but unfortunately never got a response. If we had, we also would’ve mentioned that the foosball table handles kept coming off while playing. Hopefully those small things get fixed up soon, it’s not an accurate listing if not fully disclosed in the listing or anywhere on the property. It adds a certain pressure to a leisure trip because you don’t want to be blamed for it. Otherwise the place was wonderful.All in all, we’d definitely recommend this property, it’s a lovely home in a great location, and we’d be happy to come back!

Beautiful Home, amazing view

This home is perfect if you are looking for a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view and access to the lake. Very spacious with lots of room (for our family of 9). We loved the game room in basement with foosball, ping pong table, pool, card table but was chilly downstairs so definitely wear something warm down there but was perfect for evening entertainment. The hot tub was a big hit overlooking the lake. We brought our own tubes but also loved having access to row boat and 2 kayaks on premises. We also loved the private fireplace area. A few things that could be improved. There were very few cooking/baking pans & pots (no big stock pot which was hard when cooking for nine people). Also no storage containers for leftovers so I’d suggest bringing your own. It stated towels provided, which they were but it was literally 2 medium size, kinda hard, old white towels in each room so bring your own towels. Lastly, the sofa is very low to ground, has a short back and not too comfortable so if you have bad knees or want to relax on sofa, it’s not the best one (I sat on a kitchen chair most of the week because of this). Also sofa is a sectional and came apart easily & often. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again having the knowledge of what we would need to make our stay even better. It’s a beautiful house, great location with plenty to do on site in both house and outside on lake.

Perfect House

We went for the weekend for my son’s 10th birthday. It was a lovely home on a beautiful lot with the lake view. Our boys enjoyed the backyard and lots to do. Highly Recommend

Mid-Week Stay in Laker’s Pointe

Our stay in Laker’s Pointe was perfect! The property is beautiful, the fall foliage reflecting in the lake was stunning, the house was immaculately clean and the fishing was great. The house was well set up for three couples. The AvantStay staff was fantastic and very responsive to all questions. We would stay in this house again for sure! The only suggestion for improvement that we would have would be the addition of a wood burning fire pit. The gas one just wasn’t the same experience.

Peace and quiet with a beautiful view

Although it rained just about every day during our stay, we enjoyed the view and the accommodations. The home was lovely, clean and hospitable, and the game room and spa were an added plus. Interior and exterior were well maintained. Beautiful property!

Beautiful house by lake

We are a family of five plus one dog who really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and comfortable with lake access. We spent many hours in the game room when it was raining. We also enjoyed using the grill,fire pit and the kayaks. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Peaceful house on the water

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Check in process was smooth and flawless. House was clean and had many convenience items. The game room was well equipped. Nice touches throughout the house (all light switches conveniently labeled). Neighborhood was clean and quiet and the house had an amazing view. We’d definitely return.

House on Lake in Long Pond, PA

We totally enjoyed our stay in the Pocono Mountains at this delightful house in the Emerald Lakes Community. The house was clean and comfortable. Once we became settled in, we (including the dogs) loved it! We Played pool each night, took out canoe and kayaks each day, and found local Breweries and Wineries to haunt. Also popped into Mount Airy Casino for a bit of fun. All in all it was a great stay.
