Our entire family was loading up in car to start our trip and received notification that our reservation was canceled 
. Just hours before our arrival! Needless to say, our family was very disappointed and upset!

The property is a good location and the bedrooms are and bathrooms are all nice. The kitchen could use some updating and the water pressure in the kitchen wasn’t great. We loved the pool and hot tub although we had to reset the hot tub multiple times and when I reached out to avantstay no one got back to me. Whoever they hire for cleaning doesn’t do the best job we had to rewash all the towels because they were damn and a little smelly and there was quite a bit of dog hair around but overall it was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed it.

Terrible odor with no resolution from property manager

The property presents as beautiful and spacious. However, initially the smell of septic systems greeted us as we walked up the steps to enter the house. Then entering the house there was a terrible odor like men's body spray on steroids. When I complained, I was told it was the cleaning solution and to just open windows. Since it was around 30 degrees outside, opening windows was a miserable experience. We did that for about 24 hours and then closed them. The odor persisted and seemed to be coming from the heaters. The property managers apologized but offered no resolution or a different property or refund. Several of us had migraines the entire stay. We booked for a week, but half our party left after 3 nights and the rest of us left after 5 nights. It was supposed to be a celebratory trip for my parents 50th anniversary and for the New Year. There was one wine glass, one champagne flute, and one shot glass. (We bought and left wine glasses for the property). There are pool balls and equipment, but no table. The kitchen was very disorganized with random cookware shoved haphazardly in drawers and cupboards. This was my first time using VRBO. I have used other vacation rentals that feel like the owners pride and joy and have always left high reviews. This place felt like a property that is minimally cared for and managed to bring in money. I am not sure if this is what is to be expected of all VRBO properties, but I won't risk it again.

Huge home near Camelback

House felt larger than the pictures present, which is a good thing. My group even are considering coming back in the summer to use the huge pool that's in the backyard. Convenient location close to Camelback mountains as well, just a little scary if the area gets snowy/icy and the roads or driveway aren't plowed.

Excellent weekend away

My friends and I go on a trip every year at the end of the summer and after years of looking for a place that suits all our needs, we FINALLY found a place that checked all the boxes and are planning to book the same property for next year. Avantstay was wonderful at answering all our questions quickly, the house was clean, well stocked, and the prefect location for our "Chosen Family Vacation". The *only* thing that we found lacking (and it's minor) was blankets for the living room. It was unseasonably chilly while we were there and felt like a few more blankets would be ideal.

Place was clean and as advertised. Great customer service. Conveniently located. My only complaint is the HVAC system just wasn’t big enough to cool the house completely. Mini split s in most of the rooms and they worked but the place is huge and never really got cool enough for us. But we run hot and it was a heat wave. Would definitely consider doing business with them again.

Father's Day Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Mindset. This is actually our second time at the property. The first time we visited was for my husband's birthday. It was all adults and we stayed in November. We loved all there was to do inside the home with the game room and also the hot tub. We were so excited to come back and experience the pool in the summer months. This time we came with the kids and my in laws to celebrate Father's Day! It was great. We enjoyed the pool, the deck and the kids loved the game room. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and we were greeted, as before, with welcome organic pancake mix and maple syrup. Such a nice touch! The house is fully stocked with cookware and toiletries. There was an abundance of hand soap and paper towel which we also appreciated. Every TV was able to log into all our show apps like Netflix and Disney+ and even ESPN! The only hiccup was that one of the kind bedroom's did not have an air conditioner that worked. There was a fan in the closet which we used and it was fine. Overall, we had a great stay and look forward to coming back soon!

Fun time

The house was large with plenty of different rooms to hang out and have coversations. The basement was a great game room with foosball, ping pong and a terrific card table. The house was a bit dated in some areas but the space made up for it. Would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful House!

We stayed with 4 other couples in celebration of my husband's 35th birthday. The house was more beautiful than the pictures and sooo spacious. Out guests were amazed by the game room and several living spaces! We especially loved the casino table...we played black jack all night. So much seating and great appliances in the kitchen. We were left a beautiful thank you note and pancake mix with maple syrup! Such a sweet touch. Our best VRBO stay yet! Will definitely book again! (we only have 4 stars for check in process because there was a delay in cleaning and we had to wait an extra hour for check in -- they compensated by giving us two additional hours for check out!)

The house is beautiful! I just wish it was cleaner and I wish there was more lighting in the backyard so we could have enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit. It was too dark to see anything at night.

Large House Accommodates Many

The house was very large so it accommodated our family nicely. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Nice updated bathrooms as well. It rained the whole time we were there so we didn’t get to sit outside or use the pool which was unfortunate. The kitchen can use some updated bakeware and bowls. Be sure to bring your own foil, plastic wrap, oil and condiments and spices. Refrigerator and dishwasher worked well. We didn’t use the washer and dryer but that is a nice addition. The game room was nice but could use better ping pong paddles and some board games. The property could use some tidying. We did not use the lake or recreation area or indoor pool. Close by to Rt 80 and outlets.

good location in emerald lakes

Good vaca home in emerald lakes. Needs some tlc. nice pool thats always cold. hot tub very inconvenient to use but nice. lots of space and rooms to use and enjoy. very close to lake and a beach area with playground.
