I have no idea what happened, but when we got there people were staying there already. Spoke with the host. He said too bad...come back tomorrow. Vrbo refunded as we sat outside the rental stranded states away from home.
I could not stay at the property due to mismanagement of the reservations. I believe it was double booked and there was no communication about it. I only received the check in instruction and followed it and by the time of arrival there was another party that had already checked in. Since they were already checked in, my group was stranded. Management for this property also did not assist us in finding a new place to stay
Trip was booked almost 2 weeks prior. Payment was accepted. Instruction on how to get into the property was emailed to me on the day of. Finally 4 hours before check in I decided to message the host asking about late check out, only THEN i found out property was not available. Offer me another location but did not have 3 bedroom so wouldn't work out for my family and I. It's been 3 days since "suppose" rental and I still haven't seen my refund!
