Verbesserungswürdig: Zustand der Unterkunft
We were in town for the Indycar Grand Prix and picked this hotel because everything else was booked up. I’ll start by saying the property location was extremely convenient - super close to the airport and walking distance to good food options and retailers.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. However, this getting a lower rating because of a few things:
1. We were woken up at 5M on our first night to the sound of dripping. Turns out the ceiling was leaking. We called the front desk and at first they made it seem like they might not able to get us into a new room until I pressed harder for them to. They blamed it on the system being slow and the fact that they were fully booked. After some back and forth, they were able to get us into a new room soon after we got off the phone.
2. The walls are paper thin. We heard everything in the rooms next to us. On our last night the people in the room next to us has their TV blaring past 11PM. Had to complain to the front desk just because it was keeping us up.
For as much as we paid for the rooms (close to $400/night) I was really hoping to just have an easy, hassle free stay. Unfortunately, it was not.
