I checked in late night around 9 pm. I did online check in and used a digital room key not needing to stop at the front desk. I got to the room and noted a pubic hair on the bathroom counter, Stains on the bed sheets and pillows, dirty shower floor, and a clogged toilet. I called front desk to request someone to the room to repair the toilet and ultimately asked for a new room. I was told I could not switch, and there was no engineer working so I would need to go to the lobby each time I needed to use the bathroom. I’m extremely unsatisfied with this experience and was told I could not be refunded.

My 3rd day at this hotel. Cannot recommended enough for the convenience of LAX airport, the on-time shuttle service provided, and of course, the Mattel store right next door! Very convenient for shopping and dining, plus the hotel has an amazing restaurant and breakfast.

This was my second stay at the hotel. Very convenient for LAX airport, plus the hotel has a shuttle, which is a big bonus. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Dining options were fantastic.

Service in restaurant was slow - understaffed - food was good and well prepared. Warm cookies are really good. Room service would be nice. Parking is a bit limited at $35 a day - tightly spaced and crowded. Staff is nice and professional - Check in time at 1600 seems a bit late in the day -especially for East Coast travelers just arriving.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton LAX – El Segundo, and this place is awesome! First off, it’s super close to the airport and conveniently located right next to the Mattel Corporate offices. The area and parking lot both felt extremely safe, which was important to me. I rented a car and parked on-site — parking was $35 per day. There are plenty of food and coffee options nearby, including Raising Cane’s, In-N-Out, Starbucks, and Ralphs — all within about a 10-minute walk (0.3–0.5 miles). I also noticed a Metro station just a short walk away, which could be handy for getting around without a car. The room was clean, and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. While the hotel isn’t right next to major attractions, I didn’t mind driving — I chose this spot mainly for safety and convenience. It’s about 30 minutes to West Hollywood, 40 to Pasadena, and around 50 to Disneyland (depending on LA traffic, of course). The town of El Segundo itself is great — only 3–4 miles from the beach. Lastly, I have to give a huge shoutout to Edgar — he was a total rockstar! His customer service went above and beyond and really made my stay stand out. 100% staying here again
