It’s about a 30-minute walk to the Santa Monica Pier. The location itself is just okay—not great, not terrible—but the hotel was excellent. Super clean, and the highlight was the free bike rentals. That ended up being the best part of our trip since we spent a whole day biking along the LA waterfront.

The hotel is right outside a highschool so be prepared to be woken up to the drumline practice at 7am. Valet was advertised as $55 and they charged $64.90; there are no other parking options nearby. There was no coffee in the room. Hotel is clean and beds were nice.
