The reception staff, particularly the night shift, were quite rude. The staff member lacked professionalism in her interactions, with an arrogant tone and inconsistent behavior—sometimes she was polite, but other times, extremely rude. It made the experience unpleasant. On the positive side, the manager was very friendly and helpful, making a positive impression.

Poor parking but solid hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is super convenient in regards to the airport. I found the price for parking insane - we stayed downtown the night prior and paid $60.50 for Valet parking but stayed here and paid $54 plus tax so about the same but to self park in a garage. The parking when you arrive is incredibly inconvenient and the shuttle bus driver was rude even though clearly there was no where else to park to go in and check in prior to getting access to the parking garage. They seem to want their shuttles used but they have horrible reviews which is why I chose to keep my rental and by the response of those frustrated in the lobby regarding the shuttle I am glad we did. The hotel is great the parking could use work.

I always stay at the Res Inn’s (many years now all over the country) and never had any complaints. The LAX one has an extortionate parking fee. 60 usd per night including tax. This is beyond reasonable. Not only does it significantly increase your overall budget but the entrance barrier to and from the carpark just wouldn’t accept our key card. Countless trips to and from reception were necessary. Reception and the carpark are not close! We stayed here twice either side of flights and the same happened both times. This is my only complaint. Seriously needs attention.

Missed Flight, Residence Inn Delight

my gratitude to late night Front Desk Accountant, Mon Te (sp). He went over and above to provide me with accommodations after I missed my earlier flight at LAX to Baltimore MD (BWI). There was a date mix up with my on-line Hotels.com reservation. I arrived after 1 am in the morning after rebook of United redeye to 8:25 am BWI flight. The security guard helped me enter and Monte starting looking for my reservation. All to say he recognized the dilemma of my paying for and booking the Residence Inn LAX reservation on Hotels.com between the date change March 30 to March 31st. He was able to sort it out as I contacted Hotels.com. I was able to sleep peacefully in RM 604 for a few hours before preparing to come back to Baltimore to care for my Mother who has dementia diagnosis. Thank you to Monte and Security Guard. What a Blessing. You have compassionate, professional, efficient employees. My room Accomodations were great.

Highly recommend.

Our hotel room was exceptional. We had a large corner room (unrequested) it was beautifully appointed. The bed was comfortable the bathroom also was large and very well designed. We would stay there happily, next time in Los Angeles.

Room was big enough equipped with simple kitchen set. Good for overnight if you transit somewhere from LAX. Complimentary breakfast is good. Room service (for food) is very limited (outsourcing system) so you need to drive for decent restaurants (some kind of SUBWAY and Starbucks located at 1st floor, which is OK).
