The location is really great and we wanted to be close to the shops and restaurants on 2nd and within a short drive to different beach areas. That was great! The size of the space itself is also great, with very minimal street noise.Unfortunately, there were a few less idea issues we ran into. There's only one wall A/C unit in the living room and the air does not easily make it into the two bedrooms. The first night we slept there it was close to 80 degrees in both bedrooms and we all slept very badly. The host graciously brought us a number of fans the next day, which helped cool down the rooms a bit in the daytime (though not easy to use at night unless we all slept with bedroom doors open--not really possible if you're traveling with kids who sleep early). The people upstairs were very loud with stomping and running late and night and early in the morning (about 7am). That was probably the worst part--very annoying! In addition, the two bedrooms face a corridor with a very bright light that people kept turning on all night. The windows have no curtains, just plastic shutters, and the light came in very bright all night long. The hosts were very easy to reach and did their best to accommodate us. But when it comes down to it, I'd not stay again simply due to the heat in the space, the noise upstairs, and the bright lights coming in. These things won't bother everyone, but just consider before booking.
