The room was fine. Walking around outside was challenging. As a senior citizen, I need even walk ways. Breakfast was totally inadequate. No bread for toast. I don’t eat sweet things for breakfast so the little rolls were off limits. No decaf coffee. A hard boiled egg would have been very helpful. I had a little yogurt, but it had sugar.

There was a crew of workers staying there overnight which was fine but the check in host piled us all in the same section which made parking tough. We had to park on the other side of hotel and haul our stuff. Would expect that if we checked in late but we were afternoon.

The upgraded look was very nice but at closer look, the furniture was pretty funky….a very small TV, scratches and wear on the furniture, and no reading lamps at bedside. I appreciate the room included ‘breakfast’ but it was pretty minimal and not for people with added sugar limitations (no plain oatmeal without sugar, one brand of highly sweetened yogurt, only apples as the fruit selection.

I chose this place primarily due to its location near Buttonwillow Raceway and for its cost. The staff is great. The room is fine - clean, a/c works, etc.all that I could ask. parking lot is not great for my car but that's on me. The food offering in the morning is what I would expect for what I am paying - there is a Denny's easy walk if you want more. I will continue to frequent this place everytime I go to Buttonwillow or have some other reason to be near Bakersfield. Thanks to the staff, desk and

Everything was fine. Room clean and in good condition. The breakfast area and coffee was also fine. Yes the food choices are simple and basic, but are acceptable.to get you out the door in the morning. It also opens at 6AM. Good spot at I5 and CA Hwy 46.
