Want to say 'Cheap & Cheerful' have to settle for 'cheap'. Once booking confirmed we were told to contact the motel prior to arriving. Called 2 hour before ETA, told that the security ID had not been submitted, but not a problem ' Leave it with me'. Had not had a request for security ID!!. 1 hour later called again, three times, no answer. Finally arrived, called again, was told that our booking had been received by Expedia, but details not passed on to Jaylets, needed a 4 pin code to access the room. Waited 20 mins, finally code arrived.
Room was very cold, only one towel for two of us, shelf hanging off wall, very noisy at 11.30pm and 3.30am. Telly didnât work. Wonât be going back there again. Expensive
Hotels .com didnât tell the hotel about my booking. Normally not a problem, but there is no reception desk here. You need an access code to get into your room which is difficult if you canât find anyone to ask. Would help if it gave that info on the web site. Very helpful man on phone sorted it out. Very basic accommodation , but clean, comfy bed and adequate.
Exactly as you'd expect a budget motel to be. Showers are good facilities are good once you learn how to navigate the TV. otherwise. One towel for 2 people is unrealistic. Kitchen facilities are good if you can get to use them as regulars make you feel slightly uncomfortable. Comfy beds. Could do with extra pillows. But clean and useable. Get what you pay for.
Probably the worst place we've stayed for many years. The building is very tired, facilities are basic. WiFi was available and worked well - but the television only operated on a pay TV service with no ability to watch normal "free to air" TV.
Overall a very poor experience that we would certainly not want to repeat.
very poor experience of booking in. this involved a phone call to obtain an entry code.
i was told this should have been sent in advance as a text message....it wasnt !!! the code given did not work !!!
luckily a very helpful lady was on site( JEMMA ) she, not without difficulty , did get a code that worked, via phone call.
