The hotel itself is decent and rooms clean. I'm not a fan of the every other day cleaning etc., but they do say if you need anything to call them. Breakfast is a bit of a task as you order from front desk, then it gets delivered (eventually) to a small area. If its busy (and it was), then its a bit of a pain. Likewise, if you grab a water or something, then you have to pay at front desk. Front desk staff were super polite so that was good. Also, standout staff member for me was Lauren in the bar - great service, great attitude. - recommend her cocktail of Old Fashion, but made with Rum - excellent :-)

Great location on Whiskey Row with a modern vibe and a great view of the restoration and preservation of the historic buildings on the street. It is steps from the Louisville Comedy Club, a hilarious venue with accomplished comedians.

The carpet in my room was torn up in a spot as soon as you walk in the door. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The bathroom door was a sliding door with a 1 inch gap between the door and the wall it was up against, and the door didn’t even shut all the way, leaving at least a 4 inch gap. if there were two people staying in that room, every time someone would go to the bathroom, the other person would hear it and probably smell it. The toilet only flushed properly once out of every three or four flushes. It would usually just mix everything up in the toilet without draining anything out or it would be too weak to really do anything. The rolling chair in the room had stains all over it. This place was supposed to be a nice hotel, but I’ve stayed in nicer motels that cost a quarter of what I paid to stay here. That being said, the staff was very nice.
