Close to 4th St Live which was fun. The bed was comfortable, the apt has nice space, the AC worked great, plenty of high quality towels. There is alot of user friction due to the codes - to get in building - then the elevator - then the actual unit. Once inside there isn't one usb or type C charger anywhere. Not even on a random clock radio or lamp. The bathroom sink has very little counter space and if you are taller than 5ft 5in you would have to bend down to use the mirror. It would work for two adults and a small child.
Booked a trip to Louisville stayed in a clean quiet and comfortable loft with a great location. I have used VRBO quite often and this one with all the AI technology that was used had its share of issues. Not receiving the door codes until 30 minutes before arrival is a pain. Having to navigate the website to requests sheets for the hideaway couch is a pain. Not having your host answer at 7 pm on night of check in because you donât know what floor or room number your loft is. Calling at 10 pm looking for sheets with no response is a pain. I prefer to be able to get ahold of my host or have AI respond back with no help at all.
We stayed here to go to a show at the Mercury Ballroom, which was a super short walk from the property. Lots of restaurants also within walking distance. Plus the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
It was like a king hotel suite without the bells and whistles. If they can keep the price much lower than the hotel rooms, itâs worth staying here. Itâs centrally located on 4th street but in a very old shared building with another business. We opted for street parking instead of paying for a lot which they give you as an option. We got lucky nearby most times. You can pay for street parking on an app or at the meter with CC. They give you a fob to get in and out of the bldg and on the elevator which is convenient. The place is clean and has a comfortable low king bed. Bathroom is small with not a lot of places to put anything. The floor is cold and could use a bathroom rug. The shower is small but pressure and drainage were good. We wouldâve loved to have a cup of coffee in the morning but donât drink it black. There was no sugar or shelf stable creamer available which is something you could get at a hotel. No bed side table for one of us which was inconvenient. The place is quiet except for some street noise and ambulances but no big deal. No noisy neighbors or anything like that. Itâs not a bad place at all, just basic with not a lot of amenities. It worked for the two of us for the weekend but wouldnât opt to stay there longer than that.
Overall the place was great. Spacious, perfect location to walk just about anywhere in Downtown Louisville, lots of activity and good vibes on Fourth Street Live with plenty of places to eat, drink on the block with live music all around. The check in process was easy and the place was clean and felt safe. Our only complaint is that the shower did not drain at all so we were standing in a puddle of water while showering. For us, the 2 main things that are important are the bed and bathroom. The bed was king size and nicely made but the water pressure, drains and toilet flushing need addressed. However, we appreciated the place and the atmosphere very much and would stay there again with hopes that another room has better plumbing.
The property was clean and affordable, and the location was perfect if you want to access 4th Street Live, the convention center, or other downtown attractions.
Nice clean old school room with a kitchen and ceiling fan over the king bed. Very high ceilings. Nothing fancy but close enough to a lot of attractions to walk to (and I am 72 years old).
Stay there while we were at the Louisville marathon. Great location. Only hold back there was not a TV in the bedroom. Would definitely recommend anyway.
