Unique “boutique” hotel in the middle of Whiskey row in Louisville. Very convenient to the Yum Center and several restaurants. The bar is lively and inviting. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was small but quite adequate for our one night stay.

We had an exceptional weekend at the Moxy in downtown Louisville. The room was clean, the staff was excellent and the hotel has a fun vibe even for older couples. We will be staying here again when we visit Louisville.

The location of Moxy Louisville is excellent, it’s walkable to tons of activities, great neighborhoods, and some truly outstanding restaurants. This was our second stay, and we continue to enjoy the fun lobby atmosphere, energetic bar vibes, and the welcome drinks, which are a nice touch. However, our room this stay was underwhelming. The mirror was broken, the HVAC unit was extremely loud, and the shower leaked throughout our visit. For a boutique-style hotel with such a great common-area experience, the room quality felt disappointing. We’ve booked both of our stays through Expedia, and it is worth noting that the hotel appears to place third-party reservations in less desirable room locations within the building. It’s something future guests may want to be aware of. Parking can also be a bit confusing. There is a garage closer to the hotel that is cheaper, but the hotel’s “official parking partner” is across the street and up the hill and more expensive. Overall, the location, lobby, and social atmosphere are great, but the room experience and some logistical details kept this stay from being as good as it could have been

Very cute little place. Rooms are small, but that was just our hanging spot when we weren’t out doing bourbon tours and enjoying the local restaurants. The lobby with all its leather couches, fireplace, and tables and chairs is very welcoming. A lot nicer than the high-end stuffy hotels that don’t feel like you can just kick your feet up and relax. We would definitely stay here again.

Lobby was nice and lively. Hotel is in a good location if you want to be close to downtown and Nulu. Nice views. You have to pay for parking to stay in the hotel's lot but we were able to find street parking without a problem. I just didn't care for the room and set up. Three pillows for a two person stay. No coffee maker nor did I see any option in the lobby. I absolutely hate the concept of a sliding barn door for the bathroom. Why do hotels think anyone wants that (especially in a hotel with small rooms)? The vanity sink is outside of the bathroom.
