Everything was very clean and well stocked the bedroom with the single bed was extremely firm and kind of hard on my hips,The trails I felt like were overgrown and kind of hard to follow lots of poison ivy. Im the kind of person that likes To have all my ducks in a row before I head somewhere and unfortunately this place does not give you check in information until 15 minutes till time I did not like that it made me feel like I was missing something the whole way. I was glad to have my dogs there with me and I didn't enjoy the stay it was cozy
This home was perfect for our family. Nice sized kitchen, dining room and living room, plus a private yard surrounded by forest. I docked a star for accuracy of listing simply because the description states it can sleep ten, yet there are only enough beds for four people (which, to be fair, the description does only list three beds). We had five people, so my youngest slept on the couch (not a sleeper sofa). There's no way this house can sleep ten, unless people sleep on the floor or camp in the yard. But, if your group has 4 people, or 5 and one is willing to sleep on the comfy couch, then this place is perfect!
We stayed 1 night out of a 3- night stay. My husband got extremely itchy and congested after only 6 hours in the property. I got a scratch at the back of my thrat and our friends who visited for the evening stated it smelled moldy. My husband died have a history of allergies but never this severe. I have no allergies and i was uncomfortable. Fan and light in bathroom was disgusting. Sink in kitchen was not cleaned well. There were wet spots on ceiling, so feel there was mold. Table was also unacceptable with lots of stains. I would just be careful if you have a tendency towards allergies.
We had 4 ladies from 4 different parts of West Michigan gather togeter to see The Accidentals. It was a perfect setting, & only a short drive to the music. I wish I would have brought my dogs! The house is truly dog friendly
The location is quiet and beautiful yet close to great restaurants, parks, and other attractions. We loved the sun porch and how clean and comfortable everything was.
We came to town for a volleyball tournament and it worked out perfect for us. It was comfortable and quiet. We loved that there was a dog bed, bowls and pooper scooper for use also. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.
Very nice home in a private wooded lot. Accurate listing and very communicative host! We have family in the area and will definitely be booking here again if the property is available. Thanks for a wonderful stay, again!
Loved the property it was easy check in and check out.The owner goes above and beyond to make you happy me and my family will most definitely stay again the next time we are in town.love the hidden feel and all the windows that shows the beauty of the property and it's dog friendly .If you are thinking whether or not to book this property.Pleaseeeeee do it you won't be disappointed believe me.Thanks John.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer. John is a great host. The home is clean and very comfortable, and you canât beat the surroundings.
It is so quiet and secluded! It was an easy check-in and check-out. The home is very clean and comfortable. They have a very nice large screen tv, comfortable beds and a gas fireplace that kept us cozy. It was nicely set-up for our dogs and we could just relax and have a good time away from home. We would love to go again a different time of year.
We stayed at this VRBO over Christmas and found it to be a cozy, no-frills retreat that had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was a great place to spend quality time with our three kids (two grown and one tween), and we were happy to be able to bring our dog along. The house was comfortable and well-stocked, and we appreciated the peaceful surroundings. However, we did have an unfortunate incident during our stay. While walking our dog on a leash (as instructed in the rental guidelines), the ownerâs dog approached and unexpectedly attacked ours. This was upsetting for all of us, and though the owner assured us this had never happened before, it was still a distressing experience. To his credit, the owner did provide a partial refund for one night.Despite the incident, we enjoyed the time we spent at the property, but Iâd recommend future guests be cautious if bringing pets. If not for the dog encounter, our stay would have been lovely.
This home is in a great location --close to town but private and secluded. The rooms are large, but it still feels cozy. The outdoor area is beautiful!
We had a great stay and appreciated how clean and the essential areas of the home wereâespecially the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. The location was private, and the property had all the basics we needed for a comfortable visit for us and our dogs. While the overall home could use a bit of attention in terms of upkeep, it didnât detract from our experience. Thank you for hosting us!
We lived in Ada for 35 years and recently stayed here while visiting friends and old haunts with our dogs. We enjoyed the quiet spot with beautiful pretty lit trails to
Walk the pups. The house could use some TLC, but is clean and comfy.walk the pip
