This is by far our favorite hotel when we go visit the kids at college. Its very clean, and the room is huge! Great free breakfast!

More 2 star than anything else.

Check-in was easy and no loyalty was recognized, but no welcome gift. Extra towels were not provided for the entire stay despite asking repeatedly. Dining are very sub-par and in no way met our expectation based on previous experiences at other Residence Inn properties.

It would have been nice if the parking fee was included in the price of the hotel. That dumb to have to pay in Lubbock and than have big ass signs on the doors warning people of theft. Paying for parking should include security.

Lubbock stay in June 2025

We enjoyed the spacious suite. Everything was good. It was clean. The bed was comfy. However, there were a few matters that need to be addressed :the carpet was torn in two areas, the bathtub drain didn't work well, the shower curtain was too short and caused water to leak out, the lamp shade was damaged, also the light above the stove was out. I wanted to use the pool, but there was no shade at all, and a few umbrellas would have been a really nice feature. (not everyone wants to bake in the sun). The door on the first floor, facing north was totally broken so the security factor was gone. When we got there, we were told about the parking fee per night, which was laughable. This is Lubbock and parking is not an issue anywhere. The fee was not declared when I reserved the room, and unnecessary. Just more corporate greed. Use the money to make room repairs,and improve the pool area. We enjoyed the food service and the staff was very friendly in there. Thank you.

The stay was good and the service was good. The only thing was that the bathroom door handle was broken and loose. Did not lock, the shower corner soap baskets were loose. The kitchen counter separated and the shelf next to the mirror was broken and hanging.

Going down hill

It seems like it's going down hill since my last stay a month ago. The breakfast was horrible. I had to find the worker for the breakfast area when there was no coffee at 8:30 am. There was no regular sugar and the coffee was watered down. The eggs looked horrible. The oatmeal container that was out was empty. The room I stayed in could have used a cleaning.
