We really enjoyed our stay in Lucca at Casa Arnolfo. And thanks to Alice, who was very helpful with all our needs from the management company. It is located in the southeastern part of the city, in a highly residential area of Lucca. It is a 5-minute walk to the Wall. Everything inside the wall is at most a 15-minute walk. Do not rent a car in Lucca. There is no need. 15-minute walk to the train station, on the south side of the city. There is an elevator and the apartment itself is spacious, with two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. Easy walk to shops, pasticceria, enoteca, restaurants and bars. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The kitchen has a couple of challenges. It is great, especially if you cook at home a lot, which we did. There are no hot pot holders and only one tiny ice tray. But that is nit-picking a great functional kitchen. They were at worst minor inconveniences.
